Master Saved Me Again

(Clearwisdom.net) I live in Fujin City, Heilongjiang Province. I obtained Falun Gong in April 1998. After I started practicing, I immediately quit smoking and drinking. I felt so wonderful when I studied the Fa.

A year later, the vicious Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started the persecution of Falun Gong. Mr. Chai, the chief of police in my county, actively followed those orders for personal gain. He led the policemen to search for Falun Gong books in everyone's homes, and he helped to establish the brainwashing class, where he tried to force practitioners to write a statement denouncing Falun Gong. (In 2002, he died in a car accident. It was later revealed that he had been sitting in middle of the back seat. There were five people in the car that day, including the driver, and he was the only one that died). I am a law-abiding citizen and had never before experienced anything like this persecution. I wrote the statement denouncing Falun Gong against my conscience. Afterwards I once again indulged myself in bad habits. I started smoking and drinking again.

One day in 2000 my feet suddenly swelled up for no apparent reason. Within several days the swelling had spread, even to my head. My legs were so thick that I could not even put on my pants, and my head was largely deformed! My family quickly sent me to be hospitalized at the Fujin City Hospital.

I was diagnosed with nephritis, later changed to uremia. I received an intravenous drip twice a day in addition to oral medication. Two weeks later I still had not shown any improvement. The doctor told my family to be prepared. They even purchased a shroud for me.

The doctor suggested that I do more physical exercise. I felt all right when my family members helped me downstairs to do some exercises in front of the building, but whenever I needed to go to the second floor for an examination, my legs would hurt or cramp at the foot of the stairs. My family members were forced to carry me several times. When I climbed the stairs for other purposes, my legs wouldn't hurt or cramp. After it happened a few times I started to think, "Is Master still looking after me?" I once ran into a fellow practitioner while I was exercising in front of the building. He asked me, "Are you still practicing Falun Gong?" I thought to myself, "How can I still practice? I have written a statement denouncing Falun Gong. I am not worthy of Master's help!" I was very sad, but I said nothing.

My family did not give up hope and transferred me to another hospital. I still did not show any signs of improvement. I thought it over, long and hard, "I am so sick already. I will die in the hospital if I continue to be like this. I will spend all of the family's money and die." Ever since I wrote the letter denouncing Falun Gong, I felt like my life was meaningless. I thought, "If Master still looks after me, I will not die." I went home with this thought.

When I came home, I diligently used my time to study the Fa and practice the exercises as much as I could. Due to my poor enlightenment quality and lack of understanding, I continued to take the alternative medicine my family had made for me during the first several days.

One day Master came to me in a dream. Master looked around me from different angles and took something away from my belly. When I woke up, I felt that my whole body was hot. I seldom went to the bathroom and never went during the night because I had been so sick. But after that dream I went to the bathroom five times in the same night. The second day, the swollen areas were significantly reduced. I then realized that Master was still looking after me! I threw away the medicine right then. After that I recovered more and more each day. I fully recovered in a month. My neighbors were all surprised. How could a patient who could not be cured by the hospital recover? I told them, "It is the Master of Falun Dafa who saved me!"

I should have written my experience down a long time ago, but I felt that I did not do well enough. I cannot compare with fellow practitioners. I have been too busy blaming myself. Through sharing experiences with fellow practitioners I have realized that this was the persecution of the old forces against Dafa disciples. They took advantage of practitioners' shortcomings with the intent to destroy Dafa disciples. Their target is Dafa and to interfere with Master's Fa rectification. I therefore decided to write down my experiences. I hope fellow practitioners can learn from my lesson, recognize quickly the arrangements of the old forces, keep their righteous thoughts and righteous beliefs, and be firm in the path of cultivation.

I thank Master's compassion and the path of salvation that Master has provided for me again.
