(Clearwisdom.net) From May 20-23, 2005, practitioners in Kiev held an experience sharing conference and a series of activities to promote Falun Gong and clarify the truth about Falun Gong.

A local newspaper called Texnopolis published a feature article related to the events taking place during the conference, including a parade, Falun Gong exercise demonstrations, a concert, and a candlelight vigil outside the Chinese Embassy. The report mentioned that the persecution of Falun Gong in China has led to more than 2000 deaths and referred to the change in the Ukrainian government's attitude towards Falun Gong after the success of the Ukrainian "Orange Revolution."
