Thoughts on the Article: "My Understanding of Cultivating Xinxing"

(Clearwisdom.net) The Fa-rectification of the human world is just around the corner and the time remaining for our cultivation is dwindling. As a being who assimilates to the universal law - a Dafa disciple, I want to share my experience with fellow practitioners about how to cultivate ourselves well during the Fa-rectification period.

Why do we always look externally to find the mistakes of others, and feel unhappy when things do not conform to our notions? Actually, when conflicts occur, the notions we couldn't let go have already appeared. The difference between a practitioner and an ordinary person is that a practitioner looks inward to find his own mistakes first. Without any personal notions and when completely putting others first, a practitioner's tone of speech, reasoning and compassion can move others to tears.

The fewer attachments we have, the more we assimilate to Dafa. The higher our realms, the more merciful we are and the more beauty we can sense of higher realms. Selflessness, being responsible to the Fa, and following the requests of Master to do the three things well are cultivation requirements in the Fa-rectification period. By following these requirements we can assimilate to Dafa and reach the standard for the highest realm of the new universe.

Diligent Dafa practitioners cultivate to high realms and their words carry power, whether or not they were intentionally spoken. When we are attached to the results of clarifying the truth, we often say things like, "XX is very stubborn. It is a waste of time to talk to him/her." Or "I think that our fellow practitioner just does not look inward."

I think that if our hearts are moved or we feel that something has gone against our ideas, then our attachments have emerged. If we are attached to results while clarifying the truth, our compassion cannot fully manifest. At least on this particular issue, we have dropped to the level of everyday people. However, the words of Dafa disciples are powerful. The thoughts of ordinary people are not stable. As a result of deep truth clarification to ordinary people, or under the effect of their own righteous factors, they may understand that Dafa is good. However, if we think that this person cannot be saved, we may turn that thought into a reality, and the person might not awaken again, and could even be eliminated in the future. Isn't that the fault of our attachments? Are we doing good things or bad things? If our cultivation of speech is not good enough, we won't improve and reach higher realms. Therefore, while we are clarifying the truth to save sentient beings, we should cultivate our speech.

At virtually every lecture, Master tells disciples to study the Fa more. Cultivators evaluate everything at a level surpassing that of the ordinary world. Cultivators use the universal law, "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" to deal with everything. If fellow practitioners have different understandings regarding the Fa, and the understandings are in accordance with the Fa, then we should not argue with each other. If arguments do occur, we all need to let go of our attachments.

Don't we cultivate to become compassionate and selfless? Therefore, in cultivation during the Fa-rectification period, we should accommodate others' mistakes, understand and forgive other people, and patiently help fellow practitioners. While clarifying the truth to everyday people, we should be wise and only relate facts that they can understand. We should break the concepts of ordinary people with the wisdom that Dafa gives us, rather than be moved by their appearances and attitudes.

Dafa is omnipotent. If we righteously step on the Fa-rectification path, all tribulations will be readily resolved.
