Historical Lessons from Two Statues

(Clearwisdom.net) In front of the Yue Fei tomb in Hangzhou City are the cast-iron statues of South Song Dynasty official Qin Hui and his wife, both kneeling. The couple was considered villains in history for executing Yue Fei, a general of the South Song Dynasty and a national hero. The poem on the tomb reads,

"Honored the green hill is to provide eternal resting-place for the loyal soul;

Innocent is the iron used to cast the images of the hated traitorous ministers."

What especially stand out are the dents on the statues' heads. The statues weren't cast with these dents. The dents are a result of people's anger towards the couple and repeated beating of these statues. Actually, these statues aren't even the original ones. The original statues had their heads broken a long time ago and had to be thrown away. This demonstrates how much hatred people have against the officials who abused their powers and fabricated false crimes to murder innocent people.

The iron itself was indeed innocent. However, when it was cast into the figures of the treacherous officials, it became a part of these officials' bodies and evil spirits. It carried the mark of wickedness and treachery, and will inevitably bear the consequences of the crimes committed. The Qin Hui couple's kneeling statues have been cursed and hated for nearly 1,000 years. Even their descendents would feel shamed for what they had done.

The group led by Jiang Zemin and the evil Chinese Communist Party have colluded to persecute Falun Gong over the last six years. Their grave crimes are beyond words. Many people who were deceived by the CCP and participated in the persecution have learned the truth of the persecution and the true nature of the CCP, and have stopped persecuting Falun Gong. Some even withdrew from the CCP. This was definitely a wise decision.

History is a mirror that distinguishes loyalty and betrayal, good and evil, and truth and falsehood. What message did the kneeling Qin Hui couple in front of the Yue Fei tomb have for today's people, especially those who are in power? All those who use the power given by the people to persecute the innocent will become enemies of the people and go down as villains in history.
