A Sharing with Practitioners in Detention

(Clearwisdom.net) Master Li Hongzhi talks about an old lady who has
"true insanity" in Lecture Six of Zhuan Falun: "There was an elderly woman in the past who had her feet bound to make
them smaller, but she could still jump effortlessly over a wall of two or more
meters. When her family saw that she was insane and always ran out of the
house, they would lock her up in the house. Once her family members left the
house, she would unlock the door just by pointing her fingers at the lock.
Then she would run off. Later, they would restrain her with iron chains. When
everyone left home, she would shake off the chains with ease." Master says in "Stop the Evil Acts with Righteous Thoughts," "If the wicked policemen and the bad people can't be dissuaded and
persist in doing evil, you can stop them with righteous thoughts. When Dafa
disciples have strong righteous thoughts and no fear, they can use righteous
thoughts to turn the tables on the evildoers. Whether it's when the wicked
policemen are using electric batons or when bad people are injecting drugs to
persecute you, you can use your righteous thoughts to redirect the electric
current or the drugs back to the person doing violence to you. You can do it
with or without your palm erected--it works as soon as your righteous thoughts
emerge." Master says in "Fa-Lecture at the Conference in Florida, U.S.A.," "In the past it wasn't called "sending forth righteous
thoughts," it was "divine powers"--using divine powers, Buddha
Fa's divine powers. Everyday people have referred to it as "supernormal
abilities." Master talks about divine powers and said that even new practitioners have
powers. We are Dafa disciples and we have a cultivator's compassion. We deny
everything arranged by the old forces, including the old forces themselves. We
are clarifying the truth in order to save sentient beings. Once we
surpass the level of personal cultivation, we can no longer continue to
acknowledge the persecution forced on us by the world's people. On the other
hand, according to the principles of everyday people, even when an ordinary
person is treated unjustly, they would ask for justice. If it is not due to our
attachment to fear, and we continue to accept the persecution, that would mean
we do not have a clear understanding of the Fa. The divine powers bestowed on us by Master can restrict evil in all
dimensions. Human beings are very weak, how can they do harm to Dafa disciples?
In this respect, there are many positive examples mentioned in experience
sharing articles on the Clearwisdom website. For example, a wicked policeman
injects some poisonous drugs, which could harm a person's central nerve system,
into a practitioner's body. Not only did the drug not have any effect on him,
due to the strong righteous thoughts of that practitioner, the injected drug
evaporated into white smoke and was emitted through the practitioner's nose.
When the police act violently and use electric batons to shock practitioners,
the electric current can be re-directed back toward the torturers. In one story,
a practitioner who was arrested didn't acknowledge the arrangements of the old
forces. She had only one thought in her mind: "No one can move me." In
the end, over ten policemen tried and could not move her, so they left. There is
another practitioner who went out to clarify the facts, but was reported to the
authorities, so she was picked up and taken to a detention center. On the way
she yelled, "Falun Dafa is good!" No one dared to touch her, and
nobody dared to stop her. When she arrived at the detention center, the
policemen threw her on a tiger bench, but didn't do anything to her.
She continued to yell, "Falun Dafa is good" until she was tired from
yelling. She sat there and remembered what Master said in Lecture Nine of Zhuan
Falun, "In India, there are many yoga masters who can sit in water or be
buried in the earth for many days. They can make themselves completely still
and even control their heartbeats." Remembering this sentence, she tried to make herself completely still. She
was immediately in the state of being completely still. The guard went in to see
what was happening and noticed that she had no heartbeat. He then took her to
the hospital for emergency treatment. After a checking for vital signs, the
hospital found her to have no heartbeat and no detectable blood pressure. The
doctor said, "If you are still going to detain her, she may die very
soon." The policeman was very scared and immediately found someone to
release her on bail. She was carried home, and recovered the next day. If practitioners in detention can believe in their abilities, it would be the
same as believing in Master's words. Their powers would truly be boundless, and
Gods and Buddhas would re-appear. How can jails detain Dafa disciples? Master
said in "To the European Fa Conference in Stockholm," "Gather up and rescue the beings that you are to save! Have righteous
thoughts and righteous actions, dissolve all hindrances, and spread the facts
widely. Divine beings are among men." I personally believe that Master has already affirmed that as long as we
believe in Master, our divine powers will emerge. We can use these divine powers
to stop the evildoers, warning them to stop their evil acts. Jails are not
places for practitioners to cultivate. Our mission is to save the sentient
beings in the world. In fact, if we don't believe in our abilities, it is the same as not
believing in Master. As long as we believe in Master, we will believe in
whatever Master tells us in his lectures. The height of the level we can reach
is proportional to our belief in Master's words. Master said in "Hongyin"
II, "If disciples have sufficient righteous thoughts, Master will have the
power to return them to heaven." (Provisional translation subject to
further improvement, Hongyin II, "Grace between Master and
Disciples," Chinese version) We don't pursue supernormal abilities, but Fa-rectification period Dafa
disciples are extraordinary. One thought of ours can determine the outcome of
the future. If we acknowledge the persecution by the evildoers, it would be same
as our tolerating their persecution. This will thus hinder us from saving
sentient beings. Master said in "Teaching the Fa on Easter, 2004, at the New York Fa
Conference," "Today is Easter, the day of a god's resurrection. This is all I'll
say today. On this special, glorious day, may Dafa disciples' divine sides
also be resurrected!" Master has given us everything we need to do well. We need only to realize
and put into practice what we have been given. With Master's protection, let's
dissolve all hindrances, widely save sentient beings, and become divine beings
