My Experience Learning to Use the Computer

(Clearwisdom.net)

I am a practitioner who is over 60 years old. I used to have no interest whatsoever in home appliances and my knowledge about a TV set was limited to the on-off switch. As far as computers and printers go, I was entirely clueless.

During the past few years of cultivation during the Fa-rectification, practitioners in our little area relied on other practitioners to supply them with Teacher's lectures and other information about Dafa. I thought about learning the computer myself, but always felt that it was too difficult and all of the conditions were not ready. So I gave up. As the Fa-rectification progressed, the supply of Dafa materials was not able to meet the demand. The Minghui/Clearwisdom website has called for a grass-roots effort to establish information centers all over the country I felt that I should end my wait-and-see status and stop relying on others. I was determined to learn the computer so I could make Dafa materials.

In late April, all of the conditions seemed to be more supportive. I asked a fellow practitioner to teach me how to use the computer and the printer. Surprisingly, after only four lessons, I was able to go on the web, read articles, and download and print materials. Afterwards, through practice and with the help of the fellow practitioner, I learned to do paper-loading, speed printing, toner adding, and fixing a clogged printing head. From then on, I was able to print pamphlets containing Dafa facts, Minghui Weekly, Teacher's lectures, and even the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Watching flyers print out page after page, my tears kept falling. I never imagined that I would learn how to use the computer. Emotionally I thanked Teacher for his benevolently enlightening me.

A few days later a fellow practitioner came to visit me and he felt surprised.

He said that the speed of my learning was unusual. Teacher gave me marvelous wisdom and power and enabled me to learn.

The lesson I learned from this is that, if it is for the need of Fa-rectification and saving sentient beings, a practitioner can do anything with his righteous thoughts and determination. With Teacher and Dafa around, every practitioner is extraordinary. No miracle is impossible.
