Being Firm Not to Cooperate With the Persecution, I Left the Forced Labor Camp with Righteous Thoughts

(Clearwisdom.net) I'm nearly seventy years old this year. Under the encouragement of fellow practitioners, I have written down what happened to me not long ago.

On April 19, 2005, a group of authorities arrested me. They took me to a forced labor camp for a two-year term. Within half an hour after getting into the labor camp, I told the officials there, "This is persecution. The communist party will dissolve soon." Several wicked people came the next day. They scolded me insanely, and wanted me to write down what I had said. They threatened to 'reform-me-through-labor' (put me into jail). I thought: I am with the Fa and Master guides me. What you said does not count.

Later, I calmed down and thought: Now is the period of Fa-rectification. All Dafa disciples are busy saving sentient beings. Yet I was imprisoned in a labor camp. I did not know where the problem had arisen. It really shouldn't happen. Only at this moment did I remember that Master had tried to enlighten me with mercy many times before, yet I did not awaken, was not calm and really was not worthy of Master's hints. But since I had come to this point, indignation and regret were not right. I should treat myself as a practitioner and correctly deal with the tribulation at hand.

Thus, I adjusted my mindset, understanding the Fa from the perspective of the Fa. I pledged to Master: Although I had a loophole, which was made use of by the evil, and was sent to the labor camp to be persecuted, this was an arrangement by the old force. I did not acknowledge it and denied it completely. The labor camp was not where I should be. I must certainly get out of this evil place and follow the arrangement of Master. One who can get rid of the attachment to life and death is a god. Otherwise he is a human. Act righteously with a righteous mind. Don't cooperate with any order of the evil.

In the following days, the evil carried out so-called "rectifying and teaching lessons" on me. When they told me to sit, I would stand. When they wanted me to stand, I would take a seat. They exhausted their ideas. Then they forced me to study twenty-three prison rules. I did not listen nor did I study. Subsequently, I resisted with a hunger strike. In general, I did not cooperate with them. Four prisoners force fed food to me under the order of the brigade chief in the labor camp. They failed after having tried several times. At that moment I had a righteous thought and my physical strength was astonishingly strong. I know this was because Master was strengthening me, and fellow practitioners outside the labor camp collectively sent out righteous thoughts.

The state of my body became worse and worse in the following days. I became more and more emaciated day after day. In my abdominal area appeared a very big bump and symptoms of different kinds of illnesses emerged. They sent me to a hospital and soon told my family to take me out on bail for medical treatment, fearing I might die inside the labor camp.

Finally, under Master's protection, after having been persecuted for forty-two days, I got out of the labor camp. The bump disappeared very quickly and mysteriously after getting out. My body also became better and better each day.

I do not have the words to express the respect I have for our great benevolent Master! All I can do is advance whole-heartedly in the future, doing the three things well according to Master's requirements. Only then am I worthy of Master's salvation. Only then shall I not lose the graciousness of Master's salvation.
