Ailian, I Am So Happy for You!

(Clearwisdom.net) Ailian had been ill for 18 years before she began to practice Falun Dafa. After the persecution started in 1999, however, she stopped practicing because of fear. When the painful conditions recurred, she became hopeless. "Accidentally" Ailian watched a truth-clarifying videotape and saw through the evil Communist Party lies. Once again she started to study Zhuan Falun. The magnificence of Dafa was manifested again.

Ailian is 43 years old with a limited education; she did not finish the second grade. She began to have headaches soon after marriage. Then she started to have lower back pain, neck and spinal pain, frontal sinusitis, rhinosinusitis, gastritis, inflamed gallbladder, and other illnesses. Ailian tried Western medicine, Chinese medicine, witchdoctors, acupuncture, massage, some qigong, and health products, but none of them worked. Instead, the pain became more and more severe, and sometimes it was too painful to bear. When the headaches were severe, Ailian fainted. When the neck and spinal pain was severe, it affected her whole body and she was unable to walk. The pain continued day after day, year after year, and Ailian lived this way for 18 years.

In order to cure her illnesses, Ailian started to practice Falun Gong with her husband in 1994. Because she was too eager to have her illnesses cured, however, she stopped practicing after nine days. Then she tried everything to get her husband to stop practicing, including cutting her wrist twice, attempting to hang herself, and taking sleeping pills. Nevertheless, her husband could always find opportunities to tell her how beneficial and miraculous Falun Dafa is. With her husband's help, Ailian started to study Zhuan Falun again and gained some understandings. Not long after, the persecution of Falun Gong began. She was scared by the sudden persecution, especially when her husband was illegally detained, subjected to brainwashing, and sent to the labor camp. Because of this, Ailian lived in both pain and terror. After her husband was sent to a labor camp, the factory she worked for went bankrupt, cutting off the only income for her and her child. Fortunately, her two younger sisters helped her during this difficult time so that she was able to live through it.

After her husband was released, Ailian still lived with her illnesses. The pain was so intense that she wanted to die. During that time, one of her friends came to sell her some Amway products. She spent more than 1,000 yuan on the products, but they did not have any effect. She felt totally hopeless.

At this time, Ailian "by chance" was in a situation to see Falun Gong truth-clarifying videos. The videos made it totally clear to her that the persecution of Falun Gong was all based on the Chinese Communist Party's lies and fabricated stories. She realized that this was an extremely despicable and obscene campaign, deceiving kind people nationwide. Therefore, once again Ailian started to study Zhuan Falun. As she finished reading the first half of the book, she felt all of her illnesses disappear. Despite her limited education, Ailian kept reading Zhuan Falun every day. Sometimes she did not quite understand the deeper meanings of the Fa principles; nonetheless, she was able to consider herself a genuine practitioner. One day, all the pain seemed to come back, and it was excruciating. She rolled in her bed, yelling, "Help me!" Still, she maintained her faith in Teacher and the Fa. The following day, Ailian was all right and her entire body was very relaxed. That very day, she had to move things around, totaling many tons. The magnificence of Dafa manifested once again.

Ailian has a predestined relationship with Dafa. Finally she was able to seize the fleeting opportunity and really start to practice.
