(Clearwisdom.net) From the time Teacher started to spread Falun Dafa in 1992 up to the present moment when the immense force of Fa-rectification is rapidly breaking through layer by layer and rectifying everything in the cosmos, He has been compassionately telling disciples to study the Fa and to study it well.

"Those of you who do work for Dafa, especially, shouldn't use any pretexts to conceal your not reading the books or studying the Fa. Even if you do work for me, your Master, you still need to study the Fa every day with a calm mind and cultivate yourself solidly." ("Towards Consummation" in Essentials for Further Advancement II)

When we repeatedly see or hear Teacher's words, shouldn't each of us Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples treat this issue seriously and carefully follow Teacher 's requirements? Every day, each cultivator should ask him or herself, "Have I studied the Fa today with a calm mind?" From the onset of our cultivation, this is the fundamental guarantee that we can walk toward the future.

No matter what excuses have prevented us from studying the Fa or have rendered us unable to study the Fa with a calm mind, all are interference from the old forces. These excuses are the biggest factors the old forces use to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners and "weed out" cultivators along their paths. The reason is that everything from the beginning of our cultivation until reaching enlightenment, plus the eternity of future existence and all sentient beings' lives, can only be derived from this Dafa that Teacher has taught.

Teacher taught us,

"The fact is, at this time Dafa disciples have to do divine things, because for Dafa disciples their personal cultivation is no longer first and foremost. Saving sentient beings and reconstructing the colossal firmament during the Fa-rectification are the purpose."("Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference")

If we cannot study the Fa well, we will be unable to rectify ourselves. Although we might have done many Fa-rectification things, these things will not obtain the ultimate results, and we practitioners could be interfered with by all sorts of obstacles. At the same time, we might be dragged back to the level of everyday people because we did not study the Fa well and correct ourselves in time.

We must study the Fa with a mindset of "things are gained naturally, with no pursuit."("Teaching the Fa at the 2004 International Fa Conference in New York") Let us not lose it easily just because we obtained it so easily.

Finally, let us read Teacher's words in "Drive Out Interference:"

"When I taught the Fa I told you before about all the problems that might occur during this malicious and destructive examination. It is indeed difficult for those who haven't truly done cultivation to come through this. Now you can see why I've often told you to read the book more, right?! The Fa can break all attachments, the Fa can destroy all evil, the Fa can shatter all lies, and the Fa can strengthen righteous thoughts." (Essentials for Further Advancement II)
