Light in a Dark Corner

The great wave of people quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) not only shocks the authorities, it also shocks the public. One scene after another in the detention center has enabled me to see more clearly the light surrounding the darkness here in the detention center.

Every cell detains nearly 30-40 people. Though the reasons for their detentions are different, their mood is the same: pain, worry and confusion about their uncertain future. We take all possible chances to clarify the truth to them. All have heard about Falun Gong, but the evil propaganda has poisoned almost every sentient being's mind. We started telling the people around us what Falun Gong is, why we were detained and persecuted, about the wide spread of Dafa around the world, the corruption of today's China, why somebody develops the mental state to commit crimes, and what the fundamental reason for being detained is, etc.

Dafa practitioners' compassionate words, action and righteous field quickly changed and rectified everything into a compassionate direction and helped them feel that they had found some friends in this strange and terrible environment to care about them and hear the words from their hearts. They started to complain about the abusive treatment of Dafa practitioners and felt indignant about practitioners' bitter experiences. They also felt regret for their own crimes.

We also talked about the CCP's crimes and nature, and people all agreed with us. Then we talked about how heaven would eliminate the CCP and people would obtain safety by quitting the CCP. Most people also agreed with us.

Many people in detention were wronged. During the process of dealing with the police, procuratorate and legal system, they have personally experienced and witnessed the dark side of the society and corruption of officials. They told their families to quit the CCP and its related organizations. Some people were to be released and said after they were released, they would ask their whole families to quit the CCP and to post their withdrawals on the internet. They witnessed how the detention guards and feudal bullies colluded with each other, how sinister gangs and the deranged political party, politicians and gangsters, work together as one.

After understanding the truth and quitting the CCP, the majority of them started to obtain Dafa. Some of them started to recite Master Li's poems, some started to learn the meditation and exercises, some recited "Falun Dafa is good" in their minds, and more of them started to rectify their own behavior.

In this dark corner of the detention center, we see the hope sentient beings have and also feel Master Li's great compassion and the mighty power of Dafa.
