On the Importance of Spreading the "Nine Commentaries"

Since the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published by The Epoch Times in November of last year, it has shaken the Communist Party at its roots by exposing its evil nature and inhumane acts throughout history. It has also led to more than three million people having withdrawn from the Party.
However, many of us might still be confused about the "Nine Commentaries" and how to spread it.
Over the last six years, practitioners have tirelessly clarified the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong to people. In my understanding, it has gotten easier and easier for people to understand about the persecution of Falun Gong now and give their support.
However, with the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, it is easy to fall into an uncertain state. It is easy for various thoughts and notions to come up: "Isn't this getting political? Won't people say that Falun Gong is getting political? How do we spread it? Why should we spread it widely?"
Teacher has talked about the evil nature of the Communist Party before, in "Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference": "It's against the cosmos, or to put it another way, the two types of elements in the cosmos, positive and negative, are all against it. In fact, this cosmos is composed of the two types of elements of life, the positive and the negative, so that's to say that even the cosmos is against it. So, the Buddhas, Daos, Gods, and Demons of the cosmos all want to get rid of it, so it constantly faces the possibility of being surrounded layer after layer and eliminated." My understanding is that as cultivators, no matter how bad something is, we do not interfere or meddle with it. So why should we spread the "Nine Commentaries" widely? Why is it so important at this time?
We should be clear that the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party is not about punishing people. In fact, Teacher reminded us in "Teaching the Fa in the City of Chicago": "Think about this, everyone: before you began to cultivate Dafa, many of you present here were also once fooled by that wicked Party into becoming members of it, so do you really want to bring to trial the CCP members who have been fooled by the evil? You should understand that they, too, have been deceived by the wicked CCP, and they are all sentient beings for you to save." It is not because of the Party's evil nature or to punish CCP members that we spread the "Nine Commentaries."
We should be clear that we spread the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party because of this: the Communist Party has persecuted Dafa and Dafa disciples. The Gods have condemned the CCP to death for this crime - the worst crime in the cosmos. Teacher has talked about how people who've been deceived by the Communist Party are in great peril: "Now, however, not only has the Party committed acts of evil, but its sins are unforgivable and its nature is no longer the same. And that naturally imperils CCP members. If a person doesn't withdraw from it, he is a part of it, one of its particles, and a part of its composition, and he will become a target for elimination by all gods. When that chapter of mankind's history starts, there will be no more chances for human beings." ("Turning the Wheel Towards the Human World") In this case, who are the innocent ones who suffer when the Communist Party is eliminated? Is it the head evil ones? No, they deserve the punishment that they will receive. Isn't it the people who were fooled or forced into joining the Communist Party who are in the most danger now? So, isn't it important for us to spread the "Nine Commentaries" to save these people?
Teacher said in "We Are Not 'Getting Political'," "In reality, though, the exposing of the Communist evil spirit is not directed at certain people. The "Nine Commentaries" aim to save all beings whose minds have been poisoned by the evil, which includes Communist Party members, those in the CCP's most powerful organs, and the common people. The goal is to help beings from all walks of life see clearly the factors behind the Communist Party." In my understanding, the spreading of the "Nine Commentaries" will enable two things to happen: Those people who've been so deeply deceived by the CCP that they will not listen to the truth will see the true nature of the CCP and realize that it is wicked in essence. They may want to find out the true situation of Falun Gong.
Those people who understand us and withdraw from the Party will have an opportunity to be saved when the true elimination of the CCP and its factors begins. Teacher also said in "We Are Not "Getting Political'," "...why do you have to join the ranks of those wicked beings that poison and harm the human race? People, you need to wake up! If you have truly lost sight of the purpose of being human, then nothing could be more terrible!" In my understanding, numerous sentient beings have unwillingly been deceived into joining the CCP. The "Nine Commentaries" offers them the last hope to be saved by quitting this evil cult that has harmed humanity and persecuted Dafa. It is for this reason that we spread the "Nine Commentaries" widely - for the purpose of saving them.
The above is just my personal understanding. I hope that fellow practitioners can share more about this issue in detail.
