I'm a practitioner from Linzhou City, Henan Province. I began to practice Falun Dafa in January of 2005. One month before I started practicing, I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. During that time, I could barely bend my legs. When I went to the washroom, I could only half squat. I felt pain in my swollen finger joints, and I could not lift anything even a little bit heavy. I couldn't even hold my three-month-old baby. Modern medical science has no cure for this disease. The medicines used can only control some of the pain. After a long enough period of infection, a patient can become disabled or paralyzed. When I read the diagnosis, I cried. I was only 29!

My mother practices Falun Dafa and she always used to tell me about its miracles. On my way home from the hospital, I considered going to learn Falun Dafa. Maybe my mother was right that only Falun Dafa could give me a truly healthy body. I told my husband that I was going to practice Dafa, but he objected and insisted that I should see the doctor. I could do nothing but to go to see some Chinese medicine specialists. After taking 20 packets of Chinese medicine, I saw no recovery from my illness.

During this period of time, my mother was very worried about me and my condition. She talked to me often about practicing Dafa. To tell you the truth, although I had read about many serious and tough diseases cured by practicing Dafa, I did not truly believe it. Could Falun Dafa be really that good?

A month later, I decided to give it a try and began to learn the exercises of Falun Gong from my mother. I stopped taking my medicine the first day, but I didn't expect that my illness would become worse the next day. My hands and legs were even more painful and swollen than ever before. However, my mother told me that to study Dafa is not to ask for my illness to be cured, but to attain my health naturally without pursuit. I listened to what my mother said and something amazing happened. The third day after practicing Falun Gong, my hands and legs were no longer swollen. What's more, they had completely returned to normal. I was truly happy. It was Master Li giving me a healthy body. Falun Dafa is indeed miraculous and great. I will definitely persist in practicing Falun Dafa.

I began to practice Dafa in May of 1998. Since that time, I've obtained not only a healthy body and mind, but also confidence in life. I would like to share with everybody the story of my life before and after I began to cultivate.

Ever since I was very young, I was unhealthy. My mother used to say that my health was like a rotten peach and my grandmother used to say that I wouldn't live very long. I was so young and unhealthy that some of my very first memories are of me taking medicine. I had countless different illnesses: tonsillitis, enteritis, kidney inflammation, pains in my legs and back, sinusitis, eye disease, post-natal symptoms, asthma, insomnia, neurosis, coronary disease, arterial inflammation, liver disease, etc. In 1997 I developed another ailment, breast cancer. I spent my entire life savings trying to cure my cancer, but nothing helped. The only thing I had left to do in life was to wait for my death.

It is our great and merciful Master who gave me a new life. It is He who makes me understand the truth of improving xinxing, letting go of attachments, and returning to our origins. He also has helped me to understand many questions that I've always wanted an answer for. After obtaining the Fa, I was strict with myself when enduring character tests or karma elimination. I have always seen myself as a true cultivator. Now I have a very healthy body, which is completely pain-free.

I've been practicing Falun Dafa for eleven years. Right now, I not only have a healthy body, but a pure heart.

Before I started to cultivate Falun Dafa, I was tormented by many different kinds of diseases. Due to a stroke, I always felt dizzy in my head. My hands and legs were both numb from time to time and I felt like I could fall down at any moment. Even worse, my heart rate had dropped to only 38 beats per minute. I couldn't sleep because of this. As soon as I fell asleep, I would wake up, feeling suffocated. My life was sustained only by medicine. Finally, the hospital suggested that I have a pacemaker installed. I refused because I was afraid that I would die during the operation.

When looking back, I still find that period of time very scary and unpleasant.

The illnesses and pain tormented me and affected me very negatively. I spent every day in great agony. My life seemed long and drawn out. I figured that if in the future I became paralyzed, I would rather die than bring my troubles to others. I had a dream that someday someone would give me a magic pill to cure all my illnesses. At the time, I would have given every penny I had for such a pill. But after the dream, my despair returned, because I knew that there were no magic pills in this world.

While I was in great agony and despair, lacking any confidence in life, one of my friends introduced me to Falun Gong. In the beginning, I was so eager to have my diseases cured that I only did the exercises. Later after Zhuan Falun was published, I purchased a copy and began to truly cultivate Falun Dafa.

After cultivating for a period of time, my health improved more and more. All of my old illnesses have gradually disappeared. I no longer need any medicine, I haven't taken any medicine for years. This has not only saved lots of money on medical expenses for myself, but for the government as well.

I am very healthy now and at the same time my heart is very pure. I am leading a happy and content life and I truly understand the meaning of being well in both body and mind. I am grateful to Master Li Hongzhi from deep in my heart. It is Master and Falun Dafa that saved my life. I will continue striving forward even more. I will not let down our Master, who has done so much for everyone.

Before practicing Falun Dafa, I was tormented by many different diseases. In 1984, I developed a tumor in my uterus. As a result, I either had irregular or unstoppable menstruation. I always felt very weak. In the summers, I always suffered heat strokes. Meanwhile, starting in August of 1991, my hands and feet began to experience numbness because of my work. I later learned from a doctor's diagnosis that I had developed a disease of the cervical vertebra. This disease narrows the vertebra and ultimately suppresses the central nervous system. My condition worsened in 1992. I went to the doctors and tried many different treatments, including acupuncture, massage, towing and injecting medicine into the spine, etc. But none of them worked for me. I was paralyzed in bed and unable to care for myself. Because I had no feeling in my limbs, my husband had to half-carry me whenever walking anywhere. Sometimes, I wouldn't even notice if my shoes had slipped off my feet while walking. My heart was in great pain. I didn't want to bring trouble to my family, so I wrote them a letter saying that I wanted to end my life.

But in 1994, only half a month after obtaining the Fa, Master purified my body. The tumor in my uterus disappeared and I fully recovered. My cervical vertebra disease was cured as well. I could finally feel my hands and legs. At that time I truly understood the happiness of having a healthy body. I am grateful to our Master and Dafa from deep inside my heart.

In 1998, another tumor appeared in my breast. I had already studied the Fa for more than four years, but I felt a pain in my breast. I didn't dare touch it and I couldn't even lie on my side when I slept. But I knew that I had Master and Dafa to protect me. I didn't think about it. Because I let go of my human heart's attachment, the tumor disappeared. I didn't even notice when it disappeared. But from the outside it looks like an operation scar.

Master has purified my body and done many things for me. However, because I haven't spent enough time studying the Fa, I have had deep fears about not doing well the three things that Master told us to do. From now on, I will surely study the Fa diligently and clarify the truth whenever I can. I will strive forward diligently to complete consummation.
