(Clearwisdom.net) The Coronado Island area is acclaimed to be as
beautiful as a painting. It is connected to San Diego by a bridge. Besides the
beautiful scenery, there is the famous structure built for the English royal
court, and the romantic story of the island. Coronado is now also one of the
famous wealthy people's residential areas in the US. Holding an Independence Day
Parade has been a tradition in Coronado for years. In 2004, Falun Gong
practitioners in San Diego first participated in the island's Independence Day
parade, and won second prize for their float. This July 4th, practitioners were
once again invited to participate in this American Independence Day Parade.

Practitioners learned on the day of the parade that as more and more people
applied for participating in the parade, and with consideration of keeping the
parade scale small, the organizing committee had to reject some group entries.
This year, they not only welcomed Falun Gong practitioners, but after the
parade, the sponsor invited Falun Gong practitioners to participate once again
and promote Falun Dafa.

In the appraisal of this year's parade, practitioners won two awards, the
first place award for the float and the Sponsor Award.
