(Clearwiisdom.net) On July 5, 2005, Mayor Jonathan Weinnapfel of the City of Evansville proclaimed July 5, 2005, as "Falun Dafa Day" in the City of Evansville, Indiana.

Whereas, Falun Dafa is based on characteristic of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance, and emphasizes moral value and health improvements; and

Whereas, Falun Dafa consists of gentle exercises and meditation; and

Whereas, Falun Dafa has been credited in helping people overcome addictions, and encouraging peace within families and the greater community; and

Whereas, the United States government has recognized Falun Dafa's contribution to humanity through a Congressional resolution.

Therefore, be it hereby resolved that I, Jonathan Weinzapfel, Mayor of the City of Evansville, do hereby proclaim July 5, 2005, as

in the City of Evansville, Indiana.
