New Practitioner in China: I Can Return to the Fields to Work Again

(Clearwisdom.net) I began practicing Falun Gong in June 2004. In the winter of 2003 I suffered from rheumatoid arthritis. I sought treatments for the condition everywhere but no one could cure it. My mother suffered from the same illness for nearly 30 years without cure. In the spring of 2004 my father heard that there was a special treatment in Shandong Province, so he took me there. The doctor said that he could definitely cure the illness, so I spent 3,000 yuan and bought the medicine for one course of treatment. I felt better after several days of the medication, but four days after I finished the medicine, I again felt uncomfortable. During the 5^th night I could not sleep. The next morning I could not get up. I felt pain all over my body and I was very sad. My husband worked out of town to support the family. My two children are very young. Since that time the heavy household chores have fallen upon my 14-year old daughter. I was made very sad by this situation.

One day a Falun Gong practitioner in our village came to my home. He said to me, "You should practice Falun Gong." I thought that since my illness could not be cured, why not give it a try. I started practicing Falun Gong. I did not believe that my illness could be cured. After a while I felt better. I read Zhuan Falun and understood the principles. Master purified my body. Now I can go to the fields to work. All my family members are very happy for me. My daughter supports me in my practice and is learning the practice from me. She also participates in some activities.

My son also has a good predestined relationship. A couple of days ago half of the children in his class got the mumps. The parents took them to get medicine, injections and infusions. I wanted to take him there too. My son cried and refused to go. I was mad at him. He said. "I'll recite "Falun Dafa is good." The result was magical: After 3 or 4 days, he recovered, while the other kids were still sick.

I know it is this is the compassion of Master and the power of Dafa. It strengthens my will to practice Falun Gong. From now on I will practice diligently.
