Nevada, U.S.: Practitioners Participate in Boulder City Independence Day Parade (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) To help more people to learn about Falun Dafa and to share the beauty of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" with kind-hearted people in Nevada, Las Vegas practitioners participated in Boulder City's Independence Day Parade. The practitioners' float, consisting of several large banners, a U.S. national flag, lotus flowers and traditional Chinese lanterns, was exceptionally eye-catching. Wherever practitioners went, spectators greeted them with warm applause. Some waved their hands, some copied practitioners' exercises demonstration, some pressed their hands together and bowed to express their gratitude. More than 1000 Falun Gong fliers were distributed in a very short time.

The introduction of Falun Gong was read aloud again and again through a huge megaphone and was heard by people from afar: "Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a traditional Chinese cultivation practice. Since its introduction to the public in 1992, the practice has spread to more than 70 countries and regions around the world with more than 100 million practitioners. Falun Gong has five sets of graceful and slow exercises, it improves physical health and brings practitioners inner peace..."

Boulder City is very close to Las Vegas and it features an annual grand parade, fair, flag raising ceremony and fireworks every year on Independence Day. The city is very close to the famous Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. The mayor of the city issued two proclamations to Falun Dafa, commending Falun Gong's principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and practitioners' courage and integrity.
