(Clearwisdom.net) Since June 2005, the 610 Office of Liaozhong County, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province has mandated quotas of so-called "harmonious families after quitting the practice of Falun Gong" for each section the county. Many officials are fed up with the "610 Office," and some leaders immediately refused to cooperate with the 610 agents.

On June 3, 2005, the 610 Office issued a notice to the County Industry and Commerce Bureau, and the tax, traffic, culture, education, and grain bureaus, along with other government departments. Part of the notice reiterated that the county government agencies had to strengthen the surveillance and suppression of Falun Gong practitioners.

On around June 20, 2005, personnel from the Liaozhong County 610 Office found practitioners who did not publicly practice, through their relatives, friends and neighbors. The agents asked the practitioners to report themselves as "harmonious families after quitting practice Falun Gong" to the county 610 Office. The practitioners refused.

On July 5, 2005, all work units within the Liaozhong County bureaus and departments received telephone messages from the 610 Office, urging those with practitioners to report numbers of the so-called "harmonious families after quitting practice Falun Gong." The 610 Office stipulated firm quotas. For example, the Liaozhong County No. 2 High School was mandated to report a specific number. Many officials and employees were tired of the demands and some unit leaders immediately rejected the demands and did not reply. This clearly shows that many people now understand the truth about Falun Gong.

It is a law of the universe that good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evil deeds will meet due retribution. A few Liaozhong County officials who had slandered Falun Dafa and persecuted practitioners received retribution. For example: Principal Zhang Yaquan from the Liaozhong County No. 1 Middle School in Shenyang City slandered Dafa, and on March 24, 2005, he died in a car accident.

Shi Changyan, the head of Liaozhong County Police Station patrol department died of pancreatic cancer on March 10, 2004. Shi Changyan had been promoted from chief of the local police station to head of the county traffic police department because he spent all his energy persecuting practitioners.

In 2002, Xing Dapeng was promoted to the Chief of East Street Local Police Station in Liaozhong Town after Shi Changyan left the local police station. He persecuted practitioners cruelly, as had his former boss. Soon, he broke his leg, but he still did not repent. On the evening of August 10, 2004, Xing Dapeng drove his car after drinking a lot of liquor and caused a car accident. However, he blackmailed the other driver. He was later removed from his position and is being investigated.

Deputy secretary of the Political and Judiciary Committee: Cui Guoming
County 610 Office officials: Liang Enguang and Peng Yinghua
