After Learning the Truth About Falun Gong, the Supervisor of my Workplace Resists the Persecution

In October 1999, I went to Tiananmen Square, Beijing, to clarify the truth to people. I was arrested and detained for fifteen days at a local police department. Later, the section chief of the public security section in my workplace brought me back to my workplace. The party secretary at my workplace asked me to write the Three Statements but I refused. He then impounded my wages from that time forward.

I began clarifying the truth to him. He said: "You were a good person at work but now you have been detained." I replied: "I used to be good at work so as to be renowned. But now my Teacher told us to be even better and always think of others first."

In 2000, I went to Tiananmen Square and got arrested again. My supervisor brought me back from Beijing and sent me directly to a local police department, where I was imprisoned for two days, and then transferred me to a detention center for another thirty-five days. Afterwards, my supervisor, collaborating with the public security department, sent me to a brainwashing center for twenty days until one day a Dafa practitioner was beaten to death there. Subsequently a group of my fellow practitioners worked as one body to demand that I be released.

From then on, I and other Dafa practitioners in my workplace started to distribute truth-clarifying material to people and talk to people about how we were persecuted. My supervisor, after understanding the whole truth about the persecution, didn't wanted to cooperate with the public security department any more. After that, whenever other practitioners from my workplace went to Beijing to appeal and got arrested, the supervisor just brought them back and sent them home directly and told the practitioners: "If you go to Beijing to appeal again just be very careful and don't get caught."

Once the public security department called me and told me not leave my home or talk to anyone. I did not listen but left home instead. Several officers from the public security department came to my house to search for me and found nobody, so they went to my workplace to find me. My supervisor did not want to see them and found some excuses to avoid them. These officers then stayed in the reception room and showed no intention of leaving. They asked the receptionist for water to drink because they were very thirsty. But the receptionist did not pay attention to them at all and said: "You deserve to die of thirst. Why do you always arrest good people?" The officers then had no choice but to leave.

In 2001, I showed the people in my workplace a written statement describing my personal experience of being arrested, imprisoned, beaten and punished due to the persecution of Falun Gong. After reading this statement, my supervisor told the director of the payroll department to return the two years' salary that had been withheld from me.

One day in June 2002, someone knocked my door. My children thought the lady they saw from the peephole was a fellow Dafa practitioner. Actually it was the Director of the Residence Committee. As soon as my children opened the door, a group of about ten officers from the public security department rushed into my house from where they had been hiding out of sight of the peephole. They turned my house upside down to search every corner. They really frightened my children. They confiscated all of the good items from my house and then dragged me all the way to the police car and sent me to the brainwashing center for further persecution. They ordered my supervisor to send two people and five thousand yuan to them. But my supervisor refused to comply and resisted them steadfastly. Because I refused to cooperate with them as well I was released unconditionally on the fourth day.
