Dalian Practitioner Mr. Sun Liwen Arrested Again and Taken to the Yaojia Detention Center

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Mr. Sun Liwen from Dalian City, Liaoning Province, has been tortured and arrested numerous times, twice taken to a forced labor camp. At around 5 p.m. on July 1, 2005, police from the Heishijiao Police Station, together with the National Security Brigade from the Dalian City Public Security Bureau, ransacked Mr. Sun's home, arrested him, and detained him in the Yaojia Detention Center.

Mr. Sun Liwen, 31, is a college graduate. Although he wanted to adhere to the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and to become a better person, the authorities persecuted him. Mr. Sun was persecuted at the infamous Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in 2000. He was sentenced to another forced labor camp in 2002. Over the past six years, the government officials have repeatedly fined him and extorted money from him, which further aggravated his already minimal living standard. Ms. Sun's mother is suffering from breast cancer, and her condition remains grim.

Mr. Sun is a kind person and loves to help others. He never complained about his workload and was very popular among his co-workers. Towards the end of 1999, he went to Tiananmen Square to practice the Falun Gong exercises. After the police arrested him, his work unit declared, "If there is just one person that we have to bail out, it will be Sun Liwen. His performance at work was outstanding!"

After Mr. Sun went to Beijing to appeal against the persecution, he was detained at the Drug Rehabilitation Center. He went on a hunger strike to protest. The guards transferred him to the small cell and savagely beat him; even his glasses were broken into pieces. In the spring of 2000, his mother went to the Heishijiao Police Station. She talked with police officer Duan Xiaojun to ask for the release of her son. Unbeknownst to her, Mr. Sun had already been transferred to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp the night before.

Mr. Sun was forced to perform farm work at Masanjia. They gave him rotten vegetable soup and insufficient rations. They beat him constantly and his body was covered with bruises. He was sent to the brainwashing class. In the summer of 2001 Sun Liwen was released and returned to Dalian. He immediately realigned himself with the Fa rectification and joined the truth clarifying efforts. Unfortunately, Mr. Sun Liwen was again arrested and taken to the forced labor camp.

Since the end of last year, practitioners Sun Liwen, Sun Yan, Wang Shiming, Han Fei, were among the numerous practitioners who were arrested by the police. Presently, the Heishijiao Brainwashing Center is holding around 20 Dafa practitioners.

Chen Xin, age 30, was an important member of the National Security Brigade. He directly participated in telephone monitoring and surveillance, as well as interrogation with torture. He also coerced and enticed other police to participate in the persecution of practitioners. He was involved in arrests, the ransacking of homes, torture and interrogation, sentencing to forced labor, and setting illegal jail sentences. In the past, most of the Dafa information locations were destroyed under his supervision.
