Taiwan Minghui Summer Camp - Cooperate Harmoniously to Become One Body (Photos) By practitioner Wu Hsiue-chu from Tonghsiao, Taiwan (Clearwisdom.net) The first Miaoli Tonghsiao Minghui Summer Camp was
held on July 23 and 24. The summer camp was sponsored by the town government and
planned by local Falun Gong practitioners. Because this was the first time to
hold such a event, we did not have any experience and we were short of hands. At
the beginning, practitioners worried about it because there were very few
practitioners in Tonghsiao, while most attendees were non-practitioners.
Nonetheless, everything is arranged by Master. It happens that a fellow practitioner has a colleague who had the experience
of guiding boy scouts. Therefore, we invited her to conduct some of the programs
for the summer camp. Thus practitioners became confident about the event. After
several meetings, we constructed our program list and distributed the summer
camp plan to all elementary schools. At the beginning, only a few children
registered in the program. We felt a little bit disappointed. As the event was
approaching, more and more people registered. Practitioners initially had
different opinions and gradually learned to look at things from the Fa
perspective. Practitioners believed that Master would arrange everything for us
and during the process we need to abandon our attachments. Recalling the process, each practitioner tried his/her best to do things as
good as it could be. What touched me most was, practitioners from the local area
and other places including Taipei, Bantsiao, Toufen and Taichung all helped with
the event according to what they were good at. As long as there was something
that needed to be done, someone would do it. Attendees' expression showed their happy feelings. The entire field was
peaceful and beautiful. Practitioners cooperated each other harmoniously as one
body, which ensured the success of the event. Two fellow practitioners who are instructors and the practitioners who came
from other regions took pains and rushed back and forth during the two-day event
in hope that attending students could realize the beauty of "Truthfulness,
Compassion, Tolerance" and become good people. I was so touched that I
could not hold my tears. What moved me even more was a fellow practitioner in
Tonghsiao. She always quietly checked if there was something needed to be done
and she just did it silently. From this activity, I witnessed that practitioners had a common good
intention, namely, to do things well. Each practitioner quietly played his role.
This ensured the success of the event which aroused an impressive echo in the
Tonghsiao area. Every participant enjoyed the event very much and promised to
attend the event next time. Dafa has taken root in these people's hearts. People
in the future will have great blessings. Posting date: 8/2/2005 |
