United Kingdom: Song - "Mother and Son Welcome the Spring Primroses" (Photos)

In order to draw attention to the orphaned children of Falun Gong practitioners tortured to death by the Chinese Communist regime, UK Falun Gong practitioners held an open-air concert called "Rescue the Orphans of Falun Gong Practitioners." The concert was held on August 7 in Edinburgh during the famous international festival. Most of the programs in this concert, be it song, music or dance, were composed and created by UK Falun Gong practitioners. Below is a duet performed by two practitioners:

Mother and Son Welcome the Spring Primroses

Mother:
Child, my child, where are you,
Every day and every night Mum waits for you to come home.
You are mum's honor and pride,
You help the elderly and look after the young, you are always happy to aid others,
And your deeds are praised in villages for miles around.
Just because you practice Falun Gong, you now suffer all kinds of tortuous torments,
Such a great injustice has been laid upon you.

Son:
Beloved mother, please take care of yourself,
I am still fine, please don't worry about me.
Truncheons, whips and the man-eating tiger-bench,
Can only testify to the villains' fear of the truth.
Mum, please firmly remember, Falun Gong is great,
For our faith in Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance, our sincerity and courage will shine bright to the world.

Mother:
Friends and villagers, please make a judgment,
What is wrong with being a good person?

Son:
From ancient days to now, good and evil have always been rewarded,
The evil force that persecuted compassion and conscience must be punished.

Both:
When the clouds open and the sun comes out, we will come home with dignity,
Justice will be promoted, relatives will be reunited, and we will welcome the spring primroses.
