By a practitioner in Pingdong (Taiwan)

(Clearwisdom.net) The fourth Falun Dafa Study Camp for instructors was held from August 15 to 17, 2005 at Meihe Technical College. A total of 120 teachers registered for the study camp and the classes were packed. The three-day session touched many of the teachers attending and helped them to understand the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." They gave speeches on the final day to express their understandings.

Practitioners present a set of Falun Dafa books to Meihe Technical College library

The study session was held cooperatively by Meihe Technical College and the Falun Dafa Association of Taiwan. The main contents of the session were Master Li's video lectures, exercise demos and speeches by practitioners. The opening ceremony of the study session started with a speech by college president Liu. Several practitioners gave talks during the three days. They were Yang Suoying, associate professor of Sun Yat-Sen University - "Systemic Thinking and Self-Improvement," Sun Guoying, a primary school teacher - "Application of Dafa Principles in Teaching," Wu Yanmen, principal of Kouhu High School - "From Consultation to Cultivation," Nie Shuwen, a former director of the Department of Pediatrics, Shanghai Medical College - "Why Did a Medical Doctor Start Cultivation?" Hu Naiwen, presenter of program "Understanding Chinese Medicine" in New Tang Dynasty TV - "Chinese Medicine and Keeping Fit," Chen Yanling, director of the Taiwan Minghui Education Association - "Education in the New Century," He Yingman and Lin Kangli, a couple working for New Tang Dynasty TV - "Talking about Virtue from Words," Chang Fuchang, an engineer - "Talking about Wisdom in Modern Life Based on Prophesies."

For this session, the college had two classrooms open to hold the "International Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance Art Exhibition." A total of 45 paintings were on display. These paintings were from practitioner artists who expressed the wonderful state they experienced during cultivation, uncompromising courage in facing the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s brutal persecution, and the heavenly principle of "Good is rewarded with good and evil meets evil." The paintings caught the attention of the attendees of the study session, and they wanted to know more about Falun Gong.

Attendees give full attention to learning the exercises

Outside of the study session room was the book Zhuan Falun in different languages and other books by Master Li. Many attendees asked where to buy the books.

The attendees made the following comments:

Wang Huilan, Professor of Pingdong Education University: I appreciate the Falun Gong practitioners' selfless contribution during the three days. I wanted to find out about Falun Gong after learning that Director Wu Qiunan became so healthy. The three-day session made me decide to become a practitioner.

Mr. Zeng from East Taiwan Industrial Bank: I had heard of Falun Gong before but never learned more. This time I have observed the practitioners and feel that they are truly selfless.

Instructor Gao of Hsinbei Primary School: I read Zhuan Falun about seven years ago but did not understand it well. Recently I read it again and understood more. I started to practice alone at home. After attending the study session, I decide to participate in group study and practice.

Instructor Chuang of Wandan Primary School: I practiced Falun Gong six years ago. I experienced the effect of healing and keeping fit, but gave up when facing conflicts due to my shallow understanding of the principles. This time I did not miss the good opportunity. I got rid of much interference and completed the three-day session. I asked about sending forth righteous thoughts.

Instructor Li of Wandan Primary School: After viewing the paintings in the international art exhibition, I understand the practitioners' purpose for holding the exhibition. I regret that I did not bring my students to see the exhibition. Righteous gods cannot ignore the evil's brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in the human world.

President Hsu: I was not diligent in practicing the exercises and reading the Dafa books. Since my child experienced the wonderful scenes in other dimensions as mentioned in Zhuan Falun, I truly believed and decided to cultivate diligently.

There was a gentleman in his 70s attending the session. He said that he had known about Dafa for about 20 days. He treasured Dafa and advised everyone to cherish the opportunity.
