Experience Sharing About the Rescue of Jailed Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) Early this year, under practitioners' joint efforts, three practitioners who had been seriously persecuted broke through the evil arrangements by gaining release before their prison terms were due. The authorities did not want to release them at all at first. This experience enabled the local practitioners to experience Buddha's infinite grace time and time again.

We have summarized our experience to share with fellow practitioners:

Our city has a male practitioner, who is about 42 years old and was sentenced to a seven-year prison term. He was held in a prison in another area. Life in prison was like living in hell and he showed symptoms of several "diseases." The most serious was lung disease. He also developed scabies all over his body. Before the New Year, his wife visited him. He told her he was eliminating sickness karma and every day the prison guard took him to have injections and medicine. His "diseases" got worse and worse after the treatments. He said some passive and hopeless words and stopped eating. His wife was very worried about his dangerous condition. She rushed back to let other practitioners know about his situation and asked them for help.

Fellow practitioners sincerely told his wife to help him improve his understanding, stressing the following points:

The practitioner's wife followed her fellow practitioners' advice and even motivated other family members to join in the rescue of her husband. She decided not to spend the Chinese New Year at home. If her husband did not return home, she would stay at the prison demanding his release. A few practitioners decided to go with her and they agreed to send forth righteous thoughts every evening at 8, 9 and 10 o'clock.

It took us 10 hours by train to get to the prison. Many local practitioners had learned the news and arrived at the prison gate two hours earlier to send forth righteous thoughts. The prison authorities were very tough and cunning, saying it would take seven or eight days to go through the release procedures, and his health condition was poor and they should persuade him to eat first; otherwise he would not be able to survive when they got the release paperwork done. When his family members heard these words, they did not know what to do.

At lunchtime, Dafa practitioners shared their thoughts with his family members, telling them this was the usual trick of the prison authorities: Once this practitioner started eating, it would be a compromise and they would lose the opportunity to rescue him. They told his family members that we should not be influenced by what they were saying. We are here to save sentient beings, not to endure persecution. We do not have much time to play with them. Everything is determined by Master and Dafa practitioners. We would demand them to release him by 4 o'clock that afternoon.

We strengthened our righteous thoughts and the local practitioners also continued sending forth righteous thoughts. As expected, at 4 o'clock, the prison authorities agreed to let us go through the release procedures and take him home. The other two practitioners had a similar experience. The prison authorities were very firm at the beginning, saying they would not release them unless they were dead, but eventually they did release them

No matter how long the tribulation continues, righteousness will overcome evil. The splendor of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" will illuminate the whole world, which enables some people under the control of the evil to change to good and those who do not change will be powerless.
