Jin Xinku, a Resident of Suizhong County, Liaoning Province Receives Karmic Retribution

Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Jin Xinku, a man over 40 years old, was a resident of Suizhong County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province. He reported on Dafa disciples to authorities many times. In late June of 2005, he once again harassed Dafa disciples with handcuffs and a forged police ID. Around July 24, 2005, Jin Xinku died from multiple cancers. Those who know him said that he died because of his persecution of Falun Dafa disciples.

Jin Xinku monitored and reported on Dafa disciples to authorities for a long period time.

In 2004, Jin Xinku reported on Dafa disciples Hu Baochun and Jin Jiang to authorities. Hu Baochun was later illegally sent to a forced labor camp and mistreated badly; Jin Jiang was arrested, beaten and extorted for money. Jin Xinku soon had a car accident and was no longer able to walk, suffering back and leg pain.

After the accident, a Falun Gong practitioner risked his/her life to persuade him not to persecute Dafa disciples any more, telling him not to end his own future by opposing Dafa.

However, he did not repent and continued to persecute Dafa disciples. One month prior to his death, he still inquired about several Dafa disciples' whereabouts using their photos, handcuffs and a forged police ID.

Jin Xinku suffered karmic retribution for the following reasons:

As early as 2001, Suizhong policemen have suffered karmic retribution because they persecuted Dafa. In the winter of 2001, Suizhong Public Security Bureau drove Dafa disciples to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. On the way back, the police vehicle suddenly turned over without any apparent reason. Among the four policemen, Chang Weixing, who had persecuted Falun Gong most ruthlessly, was injured the most severely and needed surgery. Afterwards, Chang Weixing hated Wang Fuchen, a then Politics and Security Section chief, accusing Wang of using him as a scapegoat by not delivering the Falun Gong practitioners to the forced labor camp himself, thereby escaping retribution.

From then on, police with a little good sense no longer initiated any persecution towards Falun Gong. Especially in the past two years, even the heads of the Public Security Bureau tried their best to avoid getting involved in the persecution. The police used only fools, such as Jin Xinku, as front-line soldiers, keeping out of the disaster themselves. It was a pity that Jin Xinku refused to listen to any persuasion and ignored any warnings from the heaven. Even after the first retribution, he continued to oppose Dafa and persecute Dafa disciples for the sake of making money.

The death of Jin Xinku and the survival of Li Wenbao, who had carried a card bearing the words "Falun Dafa is Good" when a police station in Dongxin Village, Xing City suffered an explosion, became a strong comparison: one died as a result of persecuting Dafa and the other survived in a explosion because he respected Dafa and was kind.
