A Story from Mainland China: Clarifying the Truth to a Plainclothes Policeman

(Clearwisdom.net) During the past few years of my cultivation, I have often used my work opportunities to clarify the truth. I would like to relate an incident that occurred as I was telling the facts of Falun Dafa in hopes it will encourage other practitioners.

One day a gentleman over 30 years old came to my counter to buy something. During our conversation I sensed that the man had extremely good enlightenment capacity and had a karmic relationship with me. Gradually I guided our topics to cultivation.

Because of notions formed under the Communist Party's atheistic influence, the young man initially didn't believe much in the existence of gods. I slowly and patiently guided him with the principles that I understood and broke his concept of not believing in gods.

I told him about easily understood principles I realized from studying the Fa. I first talked about how to become a good person according to "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." Then I gave him short examples of how a kind person earns rewards and an evil person will get punished. I also told him why Falun Gong has been persecuted. I used changes in my own physical health and amazing things that occurred during my cultivation as examples to enlighten his kind and righteous thoughts from different angles. I also mentioned that the staged "Tiananmen Self-immolation" was a fraud and that Falun Dafa has been widely spread to over 60 countries and areas. I also mentioned that many Falun Gong practitioners' families have been broken up, that wives and/or husbands have been taken away, that children have lost their homes, and that many practitioners have even been killed, all as a result of the persecution. I added that Jiang Zemin has recently been sued in international courts.

The young fellow listened carefully and became more and more interested. Now and then he would say, "You know so much, and what you say is really good."

When I started to talk about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, the young man changed his attitude. He said to me, "How do you dare say that the Party is not good? Do you know what I do? I am a policeman without my uniform. You are truly a Falun Gong practitioner. Aren't you afraid I will report you?"

This time my heart beat really fast. I calmed down and thought, "Let me look inside and see what loophole I have at my xinxing level." Then I calmed my spirit and sent out righteous thoughts. I knew this was interference from the evil Party spirit from another dimension. I didn't acknowledge it and asked Master in my heart to strengthen me. I was clarifying the truth and offering sentient beings salvation.

I sent out strong righteous thoughts and said kindly to the young man, "I don't care whether or not you are a policeman. You are a person first. All human beings have to know the truth and make their own choices between good and evil, right and wrong. If you report me, then you are committing a huge sin. Because we are following the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and trying to be the kindest persons in the world, no one is justified in persecuting us. Whoever does is committing a crime."

I told him another story about a 70-year old woman who validated Dafa. She didn't blame the young policeman who kicked and beat her because he didn't know the truth. She treated him with a kind heart and told him the truth of Falun Dafa. The young policeman was touched by the old woman's kindness. He also realized that he was doing the wrong thing by participating in the persecution of Falun Gong.

After hearing this story, the fellow had tears in his eyes. He also was touched by the old woman's kind and merciful behavior. We talked more, and I told him how wonderful Dafa is. I also told him how evil the Party is and how it persecutes Falun Dafa practitioners. It is committing a crime as big as the sky, and now both gods and human beings are angry. The universe will eliminate the Communist Party. Human beings should choose a bright future for themselves.

In the end I gave him a copy of the Nine Commentaries and several truth clarification booklets. I said to him, "If you have the karmic relationship, please try to find the book Zhuan Falun and read it. You will see what is really said inside the book. I truly hope that you will have a good future."

The young fellow said again and again, "Thank you! I have met an honorable person today."

I know this is Master's enormous grace and powerful mercy to save beings. It provides a chance for this life to select its future. In the meantime it gave me an opportunity to improve and rise in my cultivation.

I wish that none of our practitioners would miss a single person from those around us. Master said,

"Everything in the world was established and created for the Fa-rectification, and Dafa disciples are the great figures of our time. Since ancient times the beings in all realms have waited in anticipation. Gather up and rescue the beings that you are to save! Have righteous thoughts and righteous actions, dissolve all hindrances, and spread the facts widely. Divine beings are among men." ("To the European Fa Conference in Stockholm")
