Eliminating the Evil in Four Months, Two Weeks, Then One Week

(Clearwisdom.net) An article on Chinese Minghui.org on June 16, 2005, exposed the fact that the outside walls of the Huoju (Torch) Building of the Jinan Business Incubator Center were covered with posters slandering Falun Dafa. The article called for Dafa practitioners in Jinan City, Shandong Province to send forth righteous thoughts together to eliminate the evil. When I read this information, I felt very ashamed. I had noticed these posters before the Chinese New Year in February.

Reading this article four months after I first noticed the posters, I dared not slack off any more. I immediately started to send forth righteous thoughts in earnest. I also made a special effort to share the article with practitioners around me, asked them to forward the information to others and encouraged them to join the effort. Based on feedback from other areas, many Dafa practitioners in Jinan City participated. Some sent righteous thoughts in close proximity to the posters, some wrote letters to or made phone calls to the person in charge and clarified the truth to him. More practitioners sent righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil factors at 8 p.m., 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. every evening. Overseas practitioners also offered their support. In less than two weeks, on Monday June 27, all the evil posters surrounding the Torch Building had been completely removed. The evil that had been poisoning sentient beings for several months was finally eliminated.

Reflecting on this incident, I understand two things. First, an opportunity to save sentient beings was lost due to one person's misunderstanding of the principles of the Fa. Second, the power of Dafa practitioners validating Dafa as a whole body is magnificent.

Another article on Chinese Minghui.org on July 30 exposed the fact that there were cartoon posters slandering Falun Dafa on the west wall of Building 15 in the South Shunyu Section, Shizhong District, Jinan City. The article "called for Dafa practitioners in Jinan City to eliminate the evil cartoons," and suggested that "Dafa practitioners in the Shizhong District and in Jinan City add five extra minutes to eliminate the evil in other dimensions in Shunyu District after each of the regularly scheduled righteous thoughts four times a day." I saw this as another good opportunity for Jinan Dafa practitioners to eliminate evil and validate Dafa as a whole body, so I took the responsibility to coordinate the efforts.

One week later, an article on Chinese Minghui.org on August 8 stated, "Dafa practitioners in Jinan City sent forth righteous thoughts collectively to eliminate the evil. They clarified the truth to the sentient beings in the neighborhood to get rid of their confusion and to eliminate the Party Culture's poisonous influence on their minds. With Dafa practitioners' righteous thoughts and righteous actions, these evil posters completely vanished a few days ago in a rage of violent storms sent by heaven." When I read this good news, I felt quite overcome. This incident may seem trivial to practitioners in other areas, but it was significant to practitioners here in Jinan City.

Before this incident, practitioners in Jinan fell far short of Teacher's requirements in coordination as a whole body. After the 2005 Chinese New Year, this isolated situation was broken under the diligent efforts of Jinan practitioners. In the overall Fa-rectification situation, more and more practitioners began to look for opportunities to work more efficiently as a whole body and to fully utilize their own talents to compensate for the shortcomings of the group.

This reminded me of some other successes and insufficiencies in collectively sending forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the truth to rescue fellow practitioners among Jinan practitioners. Recently, a practitioner was arrested for clarifying the truth. His wife immediately notified all practitioners that she could contact and asked all of them to support her with righteous thoughts. Many practitioners immediately went to the nearby police station where her husband was detained and send forth righteous thoughts. Some coincidental things happened that seemed like accidents and the detained practitioner was released the next day. However, there were some other instances that were not so good. Some practitioners dared not expose the evil or contact other practitioners after their family members were arrested, with the excuse that they did not want to give the evil anything to hold against them. They actually deviated from the basic principles of Dafa practitioners in the Fa-rectification period. They didn't have sufficient righteous thoughts themselves, and they created artificial gaps among the whole body. It was exactly what the evil hoped for. So it stubbornly blocked them. Teacher could do nothing to help seeing that such practitioners were not able to live up to the standard and not able to improve themselves.

For six years now, Dafa has been persecuted. During this period of time, we didn't take advantage of any convenient forms offered by ordinary people. Instead, we walked a Fa-rectification path led by Teacher. It is path full of hardship, but the future is definitely bright. We have no reason to blame any external factors, good or bad. We just have to steadily and solidly do the three things well and form an indestructible whole body in validating Dafa collectively. Only by doing so, can we suffer less loss, save more sentient beings, and better fulfill our pre-historic vows.
