Stories from China: Using Divine Powers, Halting the Evil

(Clearwisdom.net) Master taught us the Fa principles of using righteous thoughts and divine powers to offer salvation to sentient beings. Master said,

"Indestructible righteous faith in the cosmos's Truth forms benevolent Dafa disciples' rock-solid, Diamond-Like Bodies, it frightens all evil, and the light of Truth it emanates makes the unrighteous elements in all beings' thoughts disintegrate. However strong the righteous thoughts are, that's how great the power is." ("Also in a Few Words" from Essentials for Further Advancement II)

Master also said in "Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference,"

"The fact is, at this time Dafa disciples have to do divine things, because for Dafa disciples their personal cultivation is no longer first and foremost. Saving sentient beings and reconstructing the colossal firmament during the Fa-rectification are the purpose."

The following are several stories of local practitioners using divine powers. We wish to share with fellow Dafa practitioners.

1. This Spring, when fellow practitioner Liu went to Dafa practitioner Shuyuan's house, local police followed him. The police then discovered some Dafa truth-clarification materials from Shuyuan's house and detained both Shuyuan and Liu at the local police station. The police questioned them intensely for the source of the materials. The evildoing police said, "We'll either send you to a forced labor camp today or you can pay 2,000 yuan." Liu agreed to the payment and called home to get 2,000 yuan. He was released.

The evildoing police officer then asked Shuyuan where the money was. Shuyuan said, "I don't have the money. I have to go home at 9:00 p.m. I'm not going to a forced labor camp." The police said, "This is not up to you." Shuyuan replied, "It's not up to you, either. It's up to my Master!"

The policeman wanted to lock the door as he walked out. Shuyuan noticed that and thought, "There is no way you will be able to detain me! You can't close the door!" The policeman then really couldn't close the door. He had to leave it open. Shuyuan noticed Dafa books on the table. She collected them immediately when the policeman was not around and sat right back in her chair. The policemen came back and shouted, "We'll send you to a forced labor camp very soon." Shuyuan replied, "I will go home at 9:00 p.m. I still have other business to do."

After a brief stalemate, precisely at 8:55 p.m., Shuyuan walked out of the police station with dignity. Right then, her husband came to take her home by bicycle. She had books with her and it was not convenient for her to ride on the bike. She told her husband, "You go first. When you get home, I will be there too." When her husband arrived home, she was at the door, too. Her husband asked her, "Did you take bus?" She said, "I walked back." "How come you were so fast?" "I have Dafa books with me and Master's protection. Of course I'm fast."

2. In March, five Dafa practitioners were arrested when they studied Fa together and sent to the city detention center. The evildoing police said, "We'll send you to a forced labor camp. It doesn't look like you have any illnesses." Four of them thought if they declared they have "illnesses" they would avoid the forced labor camp. So each of them said, "Yes, I have illnesses." Only the last person said, "I'm a Dafa practitioner. I don't have any diseases."

After the physical examination, only the one who said s/he had no diseases was found to have all kinds of "illnesses" and was released right away. The others who said they had illnesses were all found to be healthy and were sent to Shenyang Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.

True practitioners are melted into Dafa at all times. No matter what tribulations one experiences, a true Dafa disciple will always firmly believe in Master and Dafa, with righteous thoughts and righteous actions. On the other hand, when one has an attachment of fear and doesn't validate Dafa when one should, the evil will take advantage of their omissions.

1. One time, more than 50 practitioners were arrested and detained in the city detention center. Dafa practitioner Tianzhen collected some clothes and Master's lectures and wanted to take them to the practitioners in the detention center, but the police didn't allow her to visit. Tianzhen got off the bus and asked Master to strengthen her. She sent forth righteous thoughts and wanted to move the guards away.

When she entered through the gate, the policemen were all busying going home for lunch. No one noticed her. Only two guards remained. Tianzhen asked Master to strengthen her so the guards on duty would fall asleep. When she got into the guards' office, the two guards fell asleep by a wall. Tianzhen got the chance to hand the clothes and Master's lectures to the fellow practitioners. They also set a time to come together as one body, to send forth righteous thoughts together until all of them were released. Ten days later, most of the arrested practitioners walked out with the power of their righteous thoughts.

2. Police arrested a practitioner on his way to Beijing. He couldn't endure the brutal persecution and revealed certain information about several local practice sites. This caused a great stir in Beijing and at the local police stations. They organized an investigation group and hoped to make mass arrests. Tianzhen contacted other practitioners one-by-one. That same day, all practitioners started sending forth righteous thoughts at set hours. They did it for five consecutive days. Then a few local officers and specific people attested to the fact that the informer was mentally disabled. The investigation group then withdrew. This incident was thus settled.

3. One day, practitioner Shuju was reading a Dafa book at home. All of a sudden four policemen broke into her house, snatched her book and shouted, "The government doesn't allow this. Why are you still reading the book?" Shuju said, "It's a book that teaches people to be good. Anybody who cultivates benevolence should be reading this book!" The evildoing policemen said, "You have to go with us to the police station." Shuju said, "If you want to say something, you can say it here. Why do I have to go to the police station? I'm not going!" The policemen said, "You have to go even if we have to carry you there." The policemen approached her closely. Shuju immediately sat down and sent forth righteous thoughts and asked Master to strengthen her.

Some policemen tried to carry her by her arms. Some tried to carry her by her legs, but even four policemen couldn't move her. They stopped, took a breath and tried again. They still couldn't move her. They were all out of breath and sweating. When they tried the third time and still couldn't move her they said, "You wait here. We'll see how strong you are." Then they all left.
