My Relative Liu Ping Arrested in Jinan City, Shandong Province

(Clearwisdom.net) My name is Ms. Zhang Shuangying, and I am a Falun Dafa practitioner in New York. My hometown is Jinan City, Shandong Province. On July 14, 2005, my younger brother's wife Liu Ping was arrested and detained in Jinan City, and now faces further persecution.

My parents were both arrested on the street on January 1, 2001 because they practice Falun Dafa. They were locked up for more than three years and released last year. Ms. Liu Ping married my brother, and formed a happy family while my parents were detained. Their child has just reached three years old. Ms. Liu Ping's heart was moved by Falun Dafa practitioners' virtue, and gradually learned that Falun Dafa is good. She joined the current of validating Falun Dafa, bringing the truth about Falun Dafa everywhere she went.

On July 13, 2005, she was out driving her car on business and stopped to clarify the truth at the gate of a workplace. A military person reported her license plate number. The next morning, when she went to that place again, policemen arrested her, ransacked the vehicle, and found some Falun Dafa books and truth clarifying stickers. She was immediately detained in Zhangzhuang Police Station.

On the afternoon of July 14, 2005, police station director Liang (male) brought a group of policemen to ransack her home, where they found 99 cards clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. Her family members went to the police station to visit her, but were refused access to her. The Station CCP Director Zhang Changjun (male) and several dozen policemen threatened Ms. Liu's family members, pushed them, and shouted, "As long as the CCP still rules, ..." They said that their superiors gave orders to give practitioners stiff sentences. They are still preparing materials to have her sentenced.

We have learned that Ms. Liu is being detained in the Jinan City Detention Center.

We call on fellow practitioners to help rescue Ms. Liu Ping by calling Zhangzhuang Police Station to clarify the truth and stop the persecution.
