Evildoing Officials Meet with Karmic Retribution

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Director of the Section for Issuing Arrest Orders in the Hanjiang District Procuratorate, Wuhan City, Died at 50

Zhang Boyuan, Director of the Section for Issuing Arrest Orders in the Hanjiang District Procuratorate, died of liver cancer on June 28. He was 50 years of age.

Zhang Boyuan was an expert specializing in reviewing criminal cases. After the Chinese Communist Party began to persecute Falun Dafa, although he felt that many cases of Falun Gong practitioners submitted by the Police Department should be dismissed and could not understand those unlawful actions by law enforcement personnel, he did not uphold the legal principles. Continuing to follow the orders of the 610 Office, he committed many crimes by authorizing the arrest of many practitioners who appealed for Falun Dafa and clarified the truth to people. As a result, many local practitioners and their relatives suffered severe persecution. He spent a large sum of money on medical treatment after he was diagnosed with cancer. However, he ultimately died in extreme anguish.

We appeal to all those officials in mainland China who have been coerced by the Communist Party to come to their senses and stop placing their futures in jeopardy and betraying their consciences for the trade-off of short term rewards.

The Communist Party Secretary of Shuangliao City Committee, Jilin Province, Suffers Sudden Stroke

Hu Jiyuan, vice party secretary of Shuangliao City, Jilin Province, was in charge of the public security, the Procuratorate, and the court after July 20, 1999. He atrociously persecuted practitioners who went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa and directed police officers Wang Mingxi, Jin Guiying, Wang Zhengbo, and Xiao Quan to illegally abduct more than 20 practitioners. Some of these practitioners were beaten up viciously, some were illegally fined two to three thousand yuan, some had their homes ransacked, and some were sentenced to one to three years of forced labor reform.

Hu Jiyuan directed the police to monitor, follow, harass, and persecute practitioners in Shuangliao City. Approved of by his supervisors, he was promoted to work in Siping City in 2004. He suddenly had a stroke before he could take on the position and has had to stay at home since then. People who know about it have been saying that he received retribution because he persecuted good people instead of doing good things for people while he was working as an official.
