Nowadays some practitioners are confronted with many things to do and appear to be very busy, so that they cannot study the Fa daily and, instead, they may study the Fa only every few days. Some fellow practitioners believe that we can study the Fa with this frequency if we really understand the Fa, and, as a result, they gradually get used to studying this way.

We know very well that the human world is very seductive and is filled with all kinds of degenerate things that contaminate our minds nonstop. It is only with Dafa that we can eliminate these things. Each time we study the Fa, that part of us which is assimilated to the Fa will break away from the superficial part and ascend to the sacred microscopic dimensions. On the other hand, our superficial human thoughts are deficient and are bound to remain contaminated. The more ordinary human thoughts we have, the more we will be affected by them. If we fail to eliminate or rectify them in time, we will be unconsciously motivated to deviate from the righteous way of our cultivation. The degeneration is irreversible through human power, because human thought is too weak to be purified and ascend to the sacred microscopic dimensions; it cannot even maintain the current status. I think this is what is meant by the saying "If you do not march forward, you will definitely be drawn back."

Seen from microscopic dimensions, the process of our studying the Fa is a process for the sentient beings in our world to assimilate to the Fa. Dafa is the ultimate power to rectify and save them. If we fail to study the Fa consistently, our superficial thoughts will be readily motivated by our human minds, which, as a matter of fact, are unable to save the sentient beings in our world. Besides, the old forces in the cosmos are always ready to interfere with and control us. So it is really important for us to study the Fa daily.

Teacher saves the sentient beings in the old cosmos and rebuilds the new cosmos with the mighty power of Dafa, which might be manifested by sentient beings' respect toward Dafa, their studying Dafa and their assimilation to Dafa. To be assimilated to Dafa in the Fa rectification period is the most precious opportunity for all sentient beings in the old cosmos.

Teacher has repeatedly emphasized the importance of the studying of Fa in his teachings. In the recent "Teaching the Fa in the City of Chicago," he again reminds us:

"So that problems won't arise for you, Dafa disciples, I have often told you to study the Fa a lot and keep up your righteous thoughts. When you do these things, it is then possible for you to walk correctly on your own path and to do well at what a Dafa disciple is supposed to do. No matter how busy you get, you need to study the Fa, no matter what."

As Dafa practitioners, we should truly understand the meaning of our studying of Fa and should study the Fa naturally and willingly every day.
