Practitioners Cooperate as One Body to Spread Truth Clarification Materials Over Twenty-Four Townships in Our County

After Falun Dafa practitioners in our county read Teacher's article, "Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People," we cooperated with each other as one body, working towards one goal. To assist Teacher with Fa-rectification, in a four-month period from September 2004 to January 2005, we spread truth-clarifying materials across twenty four townships and eight hundred villages in our county.

Falun Dafa practitioners from our county read Teacher's article "Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People" for the first time on September 12, 2004. At that time, every practitioner's heart was shaken by reading this article. We sensed the increasing pace of Fa rectification, the great responsibilities of Falun Dafa practitioners as well as the urgency of saving the world's people.

On September 13, 17 and 18, Falun Dafa practitioners in the entire county joined group study. To better understand the Fa, practitioners studied Teacher's articles and shared their thoughts with each other again and again.

Speaking of our area, there are twenty four townships and more than eight hundred villages, with a total population of two hundred and sixty thousand. To rely on a handful of practitioners' economic ability, material resources, time and energy to reach the goal of "not omitting a single area where there are people" ("Let Go of Human Attachments and Save the World's People") would be almost impossible. We realized that we needed to change our old strategy of each practitioner clarifying the truth on his/her own and cooperate with each other as a whole in order to gain full use of every available resource. Our strength would be greatly increased this way. Most importantly, there would be no repetition or omissions when the truth-clarifying materials are spread among the twenty four townships and more than eight hundred villages.

In our county there are four families where both husband and wife are Falun Dafa practitioners. With supportive family environments, they can leave home to spread truth-clarifying materials without returning home for several days. These practitioners realized they should go to the towns and villages that are further away. Nearby towns and villages that only require a one-day trip where reserved for those practitioners who are unable to travel.

The furthest township is ninety kilometers from the county center. This township has forty-eight villages, which are spread over mountains. Traveling in these areas is very difficult. Each practitioner carried several hundred sets of truth-clarifying materials. Two male practitioners traveled to forty-six villages on foot in six days and they delivered truth-clarifying materials to every family in each village. They traveled and handed out truth-clarifying materials during the day time, and spent nights at the local farmers' homes. When they came back from six days of traveling, these two practitioners had lost weight and their lips were dry and cracked.

Two female practitioners did one-day trips by bicycle to distribute truth-clarifying materials to villages. They left early and came back late. Their legs and feet were swollen by the time they got home, because they were pedaling and pushing the bicycles for the entire day. Their legs were so cramped that they could not even bend their legs. Walking and riding bicycles became like mechanical movements for them.

One township is located in a region with many valleys and hills. Traveling within it is difficult. Six practitioners, riding three motorcycles, started their day at eight o'clock in the morning, and came back at ten o'clock at night. They split into three routes: south, north and middle and they finished handing out truth-clarifying materials in one day.

There are some Falun Dafa practitioners who had concerns in the past, so they did not join the last several truth-clarifying material distribution activities. Falun Dafa practitioners resumed group study in May 2004. During the bi-weekly group studies practitioners have shared experiences regarding saving people by spreading truth-clarifying materials. We have all seen our fellow practitioners' improvements after they encountered hardships while handing out truth-clarifying materials, and they overcame them. We have also seen fellow practitioners change from being cautious at the beginning to gradually becoming sure and bold. Soon, those practitioners who had worries before also came out to distribute truth-clarifying materials during our activities.

During group study, practitioners consistently study Teacher's lectures and send righteous thoughts. When there are difficulties practitioners gave each other encouragement and support. This environment is very helpful toward improving practitioners' Xinxing overall. The bi-weekly group study provides an environment where practitioners can cooperate with each other synergistically. For example, when it comes to the question of the numbers of villages the practitioners plan to go to, how much truth-clarifying materials they should bring with them, the means of transportation and the route to take, practitioners make those decisions together and then carry out one's own share of the project. Practitioners who stay at home would spend more time to send righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil spirits in other dimensions.

Taking truth-clarifying materials to two hundred and sixty thousand people demands a tremendous amount of materials and physical efforts. To do this, practitioners provided whatever they could within their means. Those who have money came up with money, those with physical strength volunteer their manpower and those with material goods shared them with the group. Practitioners traveled on foot, bicycles, motorcycles, buses and trucks, fully using the wisdom gained from cultivating in the Fa. Practitioners chose the means of handing out truth-clarifying materials that was suitable for them. There were no rules to adhere to.

While handing out materials, practitioners can sense Teacher's protection at every moment. A 72- year-old practitioner kept up with his young companion, walking seven hours along narrow and muddy country roads to hand out truth-clarifying materials in the four villages that they passed. This elderly practitioner said with emotion: "I used to walk this way thirty years ago, yet it seems that to do this today I required extra normal physical strength. Because if it hadn't been for Teacher's support after I started to practice Falun Dafa, I could not even think about walking like this again."

During the entire process of handing out truth-clarifying materials this time, the practitioners' large-scale activities were concentrated from September 2004 to January 2005. During these four months practitioners did not slack with Fa study, no matter how urgent saving the world's people is. They did not slack with Fa study or with practicing the exercises. In addition, they kept up the group study and consistently improved their understandings of the Fa. All the practitioners have the understanding to do what Teacher has said. They say that when they have done well, they feel peace in their hearts for not disappointing Teacher's compassionate efforts to save us. But when they have not done well, and did not do enough of the three things Teacher has told us to do, they would feel uncomfortable, and not feel like a Fa-rectification period Dafa disciple. Because we have this understanding, it does not matter if the practitioner is a teenager or an elderly person in their seventies, they would both be proactive and work tirelessly, they would disregard bad weather and had their own steady ways of handing out Dafa materials. In those four months, except for a few rural villages which practitioners have not reached out to at this moment due to unfamiliar routes and other reasons, practitioners have left footsteps in twenty four townships and more than eight hundred villages, and brought tens of thousands of sets of truth-clarifying materials to the villagers' doorsteps.

Let us use Teacher's quote from "Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference" to encourage ourselves:

"You know, I never talk about the word 'solidarity,' and that's because that's about ordinary people forcing something, it's a form. What cultivators talk about is improvement in xinxing, fundamental improvement."

"For Dafa disciples as a whole, in the process of validating the Fa, when you work together in concert, the Fa power is great. Whether you're doing things as a group or doing things individually, what you're doing is the same kind of thing, and that's what we mean by one entity. You're all clarifying the truth, sending righteous thoughts, and studying the Fa, so the specifics of the things you're doing are different but the division of roles is orderly, together there's a form, and separated there are particles."
