Teacher Gave My Son a Second Life

By a new Dafa practitioner in Liaoning Province

(Clearwisdom.net) I live in Benxi County, Liaoning Province. This June 23 was the happiest day for my family, because my 13 year old son was released from the very hospital that declared him to be beyond treatment. I was so moved, and my whole family was truly grateful to Teacher Li Hongzhi and Falun Dafa for giving my son his second life. We speak from our hearts that Teacher is most compassionate, Falun Dafa is good, and "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" is good.

On June 2 of this year, my son was diagnosed with a severe lymph node tumor and leukemia. It was like a lightening bolt from the clear blue sky to my family. My mother-in-law and I cried in deep grief.

Each day I could not maintain my composure. I did not eat or sleep well. Each day I kept crying. We could not believe a child of only 13 years could contract a fatal disease. We had no choice but to keep the bad news from him in order to keep his spirits up.

After we talked it over among the family members, we decided that we must get treatment for him regardless of the cost. First we sent my son to the Shenyang Tumor and Cancer Hospital. The hospital refused to accept him as a patient because he was already in the advanced stage and there was no treatment available. After we begged them, the specialists in the hospital referred us to the Second Hospital of the Shenyang Medical University.

My son finally checked into the Second Hospital. After the doctors there performed a full examination and group consultation, they informed us that our son's condition was very critical, and his life might be in dire danger at any time. They also mandated that my husband must authorize every chemotherapy treatment. Chemotherapy started on June 4, and the dosage used was the same as the one for adults. The side effects, plus the illness itself, tormented my son terribly. He suffered continuously with a high fever and often with cramps and unconsciousness. Once when it was especially bad, his father, grandfather, and uncle were scared and called the doctors right away. The doctor came and performed an emergency rescue procedure on my son to save him from the brink of death. The doctor then called my husband to his office and said, "I will be blunt and to the point, you should be prepared to lose both your son and your money at the end of all this."

After hearing this, my husband went to the side and cried by himself. During the third round of chemotherapy, I went to the Second Hospital to visit my son, accompanied by my three sisters. On the way I told myself that regardless what condition my son was in, I would not cry in front of him. After I saw my son in this painful condition lying on the hospital bed, I pretended that I was happy to see him, while my heart bled. I could not let my son see my heartbroken face. My three sisters could not stand to watch and all left the room to cry outside.

My son was quite composed. After seeing us coming to visit him, he still greeted each of us in his painful suffering. Soon he was rolling around in pain, however. My oldest sister was a Falun Gong practitioner. Seeing my son suffering like that, she took out a copy of Zhuan Falun. She turned the book to Teacher's picture and said to my son, "Child, do you know who this is?" My son opened his eyes and replied without hesitation, "This is Teacher Li Hongzhi." My oldest sister asked, "Do you want to become a little disciple of Teacher Li Hongzhi?" My son replied, "Yes I do!"

My oldest sister said, "Very well, now read the Lunyu section." My son quickly read the entire section of Lunyu. My oldest sister told my son, "Now you must recite in your heart 'Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance is good.' Ask Teacher to save you."

In about 20 minutes, my son opened his eyes and smiled. My second sister asked him, "How do you feel?" My son replied, "I feel much more relaxed."

Every relative felt good after seeing the child's spirit boosted. My oldest sister read several more paragraphs of Zhuan Falun to my son, and his spirit lifted some more.

Then it was time for chemotherapy treatment again. After the doctor administered the medication to my son, he closed his eyes as though he was taking a nap. The relatives surrounding him next to the hospital bed became concerned that he kept his eyes closed, so they asked, "Did you feel sick?" My son shook his head and said, "Not at all, I just felt sleepy and I wanted to sleep." My oldest sister stopped me from calling him and said, "Teacher is cleansing his body, let's not disturb him."

By the time we left the hospital at around 4:00 p.m., my son was still asleep. After my sisters and I came home, my husband called and informed everyone that all six bottles of the IV drip were completed, and no abnormal symptoms reoccurred like unconsciousness and cramps. Furthermore, with each day's passing, the news got better. Doctors commented that the symptoms were once very severe, and it was a miracle that it took only two days for his condition to return to normal.

The follow-up examinations showed that every category was improving. We understand from our hearts that this was help from Teacher. The supernormal and divine power of Dafa saved my son. My whole family was grateful to the second life granted to him by Falun Dafa and Teacher Li Hongzhi. From now on my whole family will cultivate in Falun Dafa, and will forever be the disciples of Teacher Li Hongzhi.

My son has now been released from the hospital. I can say from the bottom of my heart that my son wouldn't be where he is now, and my family wouldn't be where we are today, without the compassionate salvation of Falun Dafa and Teacher. I want to let the people of the whole world know that Falun Dafa is good, "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" is good, and Falun Dafa is most upright!
