Open Letter to Hu Jintao from Chinese People in the US Calls for Release of Relatives Imprisoned for Practicing Falun Gong

(Clearwisdom.net) When Chinese President Hu Jintao visited the United States, thirty Chinese people in the US, including Ms. Yeong-Ching Foo, the fiancée of American citizen Charles Li, jointly wrote an open letter to Hu Jintao requesting the immediate release of their relatives in China who are imprisoned by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for practicing Falun Gong.

The letter states that the CCP has been persecuting Falun Gong for six years, and to date, 2,799 people are verified to have been persecuted to death, including seniors over 70 years old and babies as young as 8 months. More than 100,000 people have been imprisoned in labor camps. Thousands have been sent to mental hospitals. When will this tragedy that shouldn't have happened at all come to an end?

During the past six years, Falun Gong practitioners all over the world have worked hard to call for conscience, courage, rationality and wisdom from the world's people. They have appealed to many governments, international organizations and kind-hearted people to help stop the genocide and persecution occurring in China. More and more governments and people have come to support their efforts. More and more people are now stepping forward and take action against the persecution along with them. In China, more and more people with numbed minds have found their conscience. More and more policemen have put down their electric batons and have chosen conscience and justice.

Justice will certainly defeat evil. "If the good is not rewarded, and the bad not punished, then the cosmos must have harbored selfishness." Each and every debt owed by the evil will definitely be paid back. The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) and the Global Coalition to Bring Jiang to Justice have initiated investigations focusing on the prime culprits of the persecution and wicked policemen, one after another. More than 100 associations in Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, South Korea, Taiwan, Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and other regions and countries have filed lawsuits against former president Jiang Zemin, who initiated the persecution, and the heads of the 610 Office, including Luo Gan and Li Lanqing, charging them with crimes against humanity, genocide, murder and torture.

The letter warns Hu Jintao that the CCP regime is a political criminal group similar to the mafia, formed by the collusion of corrupt officials and profiteers. This group has caused social injustices in China to accumulate to the point that they can never possibly be resolved. Any attempt on Hu's part to superficially improve the CCP would simply perpetuate all the crimes of the CCP, tie himself to the tattered and torn sinking wreck of the CCP, and to inevitably suffer complete destruction along with the CCP.

The letter also requested that Hu Jintao decisively and immediately end Jiang Zemin's brutal persecution of Falun Gong, redress Falun Gong, immediately release all their relatives in Mainland China who are illegally imprisoned, and bring to justice the prime culprits and instigators of the evil suppression, especially Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang.

The co-signers of the letter include Yeong-Ching Foo, Huang Hongjian, Zheng Wenli, Wei Jikun, Meng Xiangji, Huang Wanqing, Qiu Qingqing, Zhang Shuangying, Liang Xiaofeng, Wang Xiaodan, He Haiying, Wang Yiqun, Fu Fucheng, Lu Zhonghua, Zhang Xiaoyan, Yu Ye, Yang Jingduan, Zhang Lizhi, Yuan Feng, Yuan Ke, Zhao Meifang, Wang Chunying, Zeng Ming, Liang Zheng, Hu Zhihua, Zang Li, and Zhang Helen.
