Falun Gong practitioner Jin Fujun is a former military cadre from the Shenyang Army Base. In the six years between 1999 and 2005, Jin Fujun was ruthlessly beaten many times because he remained firm in his belief in Falun Gong. He was locked in a cold solitary confinement cell and tortured, which left him disabled. In June 2005, he was abducted and sent to the Luotai Mountain Resort Brainwashing Class in Fushun City to be persecuted and psychologically tormented.

Dafa practitioner Li Zhonglan, 41 years old, lived in Yubei District, Chongqing. She was detained in 2002 for persisting in Dafa practice. She escaped with the power of her righteous thoughts but was compelled to go into exile to avoid further persecution. During the more than three years of homelessness, the perpetrators tried several times to abduct her, but she always escaped with the power of righteous thoughts. The perpetrators never ceased to harass her family. They often visited her son at his school and asked him for his mother's whereabouts, thus severely disrupting the entire family.

Zhang Junfen, female, is the person in charge of the Shangxueyuan Community District in the Erdaojiang District, Tonghua City, Jilin Province. She actively cooperated with the police and the 610 Office on various levels in monitoring, harassing, deceiving, abducting, fining and detaining Dafa practitioners, which led to the breakup of dozens of Dafa practitioners' families. Many practitioners were forced into exile. Zhang Junfen and other perpetrators ransacked the homes of a dozen Dafa practitioners. They also ransacked the homes of five practitioners who lived in a mountain area and then arrested the practitioners. They extorted 10,000 yuan before releasing these practitioners.
