By a Dafa practitioner in the USA

(Clearwisdom.net) Hu Jintao will visit the USA, Canada and Mexico between September 6 and September 14. Below are my personal understandings regarding our activities during his visit. I want to offer it as a reference for fellow practitioners. Please correct anything inappropriate.

During the two-and-a-half years since Hu Jintao took over as leader of the CCP and of the Chinese government, and particularly during the past year when he took power over the military, the persecution of Falun Gong has continued. It can't be said that Hu Jintao is not responsible, and as a result he has created considerable karma. In early 2004, during the time when Hu Jintao was visiting France, the incident in which the police in Paris interrogated Falun Gong practitioners occurred. In November 2004, when Hu Jintao was visiting Argentina, Chinese consular officials tore up Falun Gong practitioners' banners. Hu cannot shirk responsibility for these incidents. As of now, although gods have not yet made a decision about Hu Jintao, he is nevertheless in a very perilous situation, and the opportunities for him to redeem himself are diminishing.

Dafa is benevolent. Master said,

"When a human being sees someone make a mistake he finds it almost unforgivable. But I don't look at things that way. I look at an entire being overall, and even when there's just one thread of hope, I'll give him hope." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Chicago Conference")

The differences between Hu Jintao and Jiang Zemin are: Hu Jintao opposed the persecution when Jiang planned the persecution in 1999. After the persecution began, the gods sounded the death knell for the CCP. Since Hu is the general secretary of the evil CCP, the evil Party's specter would cling to him and drag him toward hell with all its might. Up to now, the manifestation of Hu Jintao's behavior is that of one who is puzzled and muddle-headed. This is the result of being instilled, brainwashed and "trained" with the evil spirit from a very young age, and it does not necessarily represent his true nature. If he continues to behave this way, however, he will eventually lose time and opportunities given to him by the gods.

Hu Jintao is the highest leader of the CCP and government and military, and yet, he is just an ordinary person, one of the innumerable beings to be saved by Dafa disciples with all possible means. We should not have any special expectations of him; otherwise the result will be just the opposite of what we want, which is to save him.

Master said,

"Didn't it cross your mind: this is the Fa of the cosmos, so if humans want to attack it, you think they can just attack it? And if human beings want to restore our name, you think they can just restore our name? Humans aren't worthy of that! How could you pin your hopes on an ordinary person?" (Touring North America to Teach the Fa, March 2002)

Master pointed out in "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A." "...that some practitioners were attached to the outcome of the Sixteenth Party Congress," and he also pointed out our attachment toward the United Nations Human Rights Commission in "Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Midwest-U.S. Fa Conference." We should learn from our past mistakes.

In fact, even if Hu Jintao were to end the persecution, it would have been the result of Mainland Dafa practitioners benevolently clarifying the truth while suffering persecution, the cooperation of overseas Dafa practitioners, and most importantly Master's benevolence toward all beings.

Some practitioners recalled that Master said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2002 Fa Conference in Philadelphia, U.S.A.":

"If someone in ordinary society really did restore our Dafa's name, think about it, maybe human beings will do this, but have you thought about this: how high would I have to position that person?"

Those practitioners had the thought that as an ordinary person, Hu Jintao has not gone through any Fa rectification cultivation, yet he could obtain so much just by ending the persecution--what a great "deal" for him! This way of thinking reflects a form of jealousy, because it does not consider saving all beings as the top priority and overemphasizes one individual's personal merit.

In addition, Hu will come with a large delegation and some personnel will arrive early in North America. All of them are members of the evil CCP. It is our responsibility to clear away the barriers that prevent them from hearing the truth and let them see clearly the truth of Dafa.

The above are my personal understandings. I respectfully ask fellow practitioners to criticize and correct anything inappropriate.
