Mr. Chen Guoqing was illegally sentenced to five years in prison at Xiaogan, Wuhan City. Two other practitioners were sentenced to seven and four years in prison respectively. They were sent to Shayang Prison in Hubei.

1. [Guangzhou, Guangdong Province] Ms. Wu Biyun Arrested Again

Ms. Wu Biyun is a 42-year-old housewife from Zhuhai District of Guangzhou City. On the afternoon of September 6, 2005, she was arrested outside of her apartment building at Nanmilanyuan Community on Guangzhou Street. She has been detained at Nanzhou Police Station. Prior to the arrest, Ms. Wu was illegally detained in 2002.

2. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xia from Jinan Steel Corp. Arrested

At around 7:00 p.m. on September 8, six or seven police officers from Baoshan Police Sub-Bureau, Jinan Steel Corp. Police Station and Security Unit broke into Ms. Wang Xia's home. They illegally searched her house and arrested Ms. Wang. Ms. Wang's whereabouts are unknown.

3. [Yushu, Jilin Province] Ms. Chang Shuxia Secretly Arrested

At 7:00 a.m. on September 9, Ms. Chang Shuxia from Yushu City, Jilin Province was arrested by police from Peiying Street Police Station.

4. [Beijing] Mr. Gao Changze Arrested Again

Mr. Gao Changze is from Xitaixia Village, Huairou District. On March 16, 2005, he was released from Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp after serving his sentence. In early July, he was again arrested. Police confiscated all of his Dafa books and related materials. He is currently being held in a detention center.

5. [Hengyang, Hunan Province] Four Practitioners Illegally Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Yang Zhilan, Mr. Liao Renyuan, Mr. Xiao Qiming, and Mr. Tang Zongjun were clarifying the truth about Falun Gong through letters. During a search, several hundred copies of truth-clarifying materials were discovered at their residences. Based on this evidence, on September 2, the Shigu District Court sentenced Yang Zhilan and Liao Renyuan to twenty-four and eighteen months in prison respectively. Xiao Qiming was sentenced to one year in prison with two years of delay. Tang Zoujun was sentenced to six months in prison with one year of delay.

6. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Xu Xiaoyue from Hanyang District Arrested and Taken to Brainwashing Center

On August 12, members from Jianqiao Street 610 Office conspired with the police from Jianqiao Police Station and arrested Xu Xiaoyue. Xu Xiaoyue was taken to the Taojialing Brainwashing Center.
