Taiwan: Falun Dafa Photo Exhibition Tours Ilan County (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) A photo exhibition entitled, "Fa-Validation by Falun Dafa Practitioners," was opened in Huey Deng High School, National Ilan Commercial Vocational High School and National Lotung Industrial Vocational High School in Ilan, Taiwan from September 6 to September 14, 2005. The exhibition will be in the Ilan County Government building on September 26 through September 27, as part of the exhibition tour, after its stops in Taipei, Taichung and Pingtung.

Exhibition Displayed the Benefits of Cultivation and the Journey of Truth Clarification

More than one hundred million people have obtained the Fa around the world since Falun Dafa was introduced to the public thirteen years ago. Falun Gong practitioners have a high standard of morality and put others' needs before their own. The exercises are easy to learn but extremely effective on health improvement. All those who are persistent with advancing their heart nature and doing the exercises have benefited a lot from it. However, former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party started suppressing Falun Gong in 1999. A staged self-immolation on the Tiananmen Square was fabricated to spread rumors about Falun Gong to the world. Falun Gong practitioners in Mainland China and around the world work hard to expose the brutal persecution and inspire people's conscience by holding activities like rallies, candlelight vigils, anti-torture exhibitions, press conferences and art shows.

This exhibition is a collection of one hundred and forty photos of historical events related to Falun Dafa. They tell the stories of how people have benefited from Dafa, and chronicle the difficult journey of truth clarification that Falun Gong practitioners have gone through since the persecution began. Their firm base of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and unyielding spirit are embodied in the photos.

An entertainment program by student organizations to welcome new students was held in Siwei Hall in Ilan Commercial Vocational High School on September 7. The Falun Dafa Organization introduced Dafa to students with a drama performance. The new students enthusiastically went to visit the photo exhibition after the performance.

A teacher of Chinese stopped by to see the photos. She told the teacher who organized the exhibition, "The photos really speak out! It is hard to imagine what has happened when you only read about it, but actually seeing is so convincing! We learned about the persecution as soon as we saw the photos." And then she said, "If you are virtuous, you will not be lonely. You will always have friends." She expressed her support of Falun Gong with this saying by Confucius.

Director Lu said that Falun Gong practitioners have the right to say what they want to say. He thought it was great for his school to have such an exhibition. He admired Falun Gong practitioners for buying such nice exhibition racks out of their own pockets. The director of personnel also visited the exhibition and was impressed with the high quality and elegance of the photos.
