Rescuing Dafa Disciple Sun Liwen of Dalian City

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa disciple Sun Liwen from Dalian City has been abducted by the Heishijiao Police Station. The request from his ailing mother, who is already very old and is suffering from a fatal disease, to see her son, has also been inhumanely rejected.

Sun Liwen, 32, lives in Heishijiao. He studied at the Dalian Architecture Vocational School between 1991 and 1995. After graduating he was dispatched to work at the Dalian Fifth Construction Company. He was dismissed from his job in 1999. In 1997 he began practicing Falun Gong. After the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa, but was imprisoned and persecuted in the Dalian City Detention Center. After being released, he was sent to the Dalian Rehabilitation Center. Later he was sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp and imprisoned for one year. Not long after, he was sentenced to another three years in Jilin Province. Later, his sentence was even lengthened by a few months.

On the night of June 30, 2005, under the instigation of the National Protection Team, officers from the Dalian Heishijiao Police Station went to Sun Liwen's home and tricked him into coming with them to the police station to sign a few documents. Sun's family was afraid of being tricked, so they sent Sun's younger brother to accompany him to the police station. Nevertheless, two hours after they left, Sun's family members were told that Sun was detained. The police also forcibly entered and ransacked their home.

After the incident, Sun Liwen's brother revealed that after they reached the police station, Sun Liwen was imprisoned and lost his freedom. After that, the police broke into their home and confiscated the computer and all the CDs belonging to Sun Liwen's brother. When Sun's family members later asked for their property to be returned, only the computer was returned. They were told that all the CDs were gone. No more clues could be found, even after inquiries to many other departments.

Sun Liwen's mother is a breast cancer patient, and her cancer cells have spread to her lungs and bones. After this chain of persecutory events, Sun's mother's disease has worsened and she is now facing imminent death. She really wants to see her son again before she dies, but even this small wish has been refused by the detention center authorities.

Currently, Sun Liwen is imprisoned in the Dalian City Yaojia Detention Center. According to sources, the National Protection Team has already transferred his case to the Ganjingzi People's Procuratorate. He has also appealed to the courts.

Ever since Sun Liwen began practicing Falun Gong, he has followed the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" strictly to become a better person. Regardless of him being a good person, he is still being constantly persecuted. To all Dalian City residents, please lend a helping hand and lend your righteous moral support to Sun Liwen.
