By a Falun Gong Practitioner in China

Recently, there have been a lot of reports on the Clearwisdom website about Falun Gong practitioners being kidnapped and persecuted. The number of Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted to death has been growing steadily. I feel that we should disclose the persecution and frighten the evil people. At the same time, we should stress our improvement according to the Fa and recognize the power of righteous thoughts. Below I would like to share a few examples in the course of validating the Fa, where I witnessed the power of righteous thoughts.

One night when my wife and I were taking our kids to my parents' home, we passed a community center. I wanted to place some Falun Gong materials there to clarify the truth about Falun Gong, but it was quite bright in front of the center, making it unsafe to do so out in the open. At that time, I had no fear or other thoughts, but only one idea - to turn off the bright light. Miraculously, the lights in front of the center went out at my wish, and we successfully put up the material.

Another time, I was detained at the police station, and was interrogated three times in 20 hours. I tried hard to send forth righteous thoughts towards the policemen, causing them to have headaches, become sleepy and even distort their words. They became so sleepy that they fell asleep on the table. I continued to send forth righteous thoughts, and when I closed my eyes, I saw a phenomenal number of holy armies in other dimensions striding forward with weapons in hand, forcing the evil back, making it collapse. After the 20 hours' struggle between righteous and evil, they had to release me unconditionally. During the whole process, I kept reminding myself to maintain righteous thoughts, maintain righteous thoughts.

Before Master had talked about sending forth righteous thoughts, I was detained for over a month. During one interrogation, a policeman kept saying filthy things about Master and the Fa. An idea came to mind that he should meet with justice for his misdeeds, and I spoke out, "Whoever he is, whatever excuses he uses, whatever bad things he has done, he will face retribution in the end." Accordingly, he became sick. When I saw him again, he had become weak and could not participate in the interrogation. He even went to the clinic for medicine. During my detainment, I won sympathy from inmates and some kind policemen because of my righteous thoughts and behavior. Even some drug users miraculously abandoned their addictions because they respected the Fa and studied the Fa. One man was released early from the Shuangkou Forced Labor Camp of Tianjin City because he actively participated in the persecution against practitioners, but before long he was arrested again for stealing. He was very rude to me, which made the supervisor mad. The man was reprimanded and did not act like that again. Righteous thoughts can change the environment.

Because I have attachments myself and could not see through some problems, sometimes I was interfered with or persecuted by the evil. It is just like what Master mentioned in Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference:

Over the past six years plus, we have been validating the Fa while we, ourselves, are being persecuted. With Master's mercy, our determination, and our eliminating the interference and persecution with righteous thoughts, we have been able to step forward continuously to this day. The Fa has empowered us with limitless potential. We should use this power to validate the Fa, save sentient beings, and eliminate the evil.
