(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Liang Jinhui, a Falun Dafa practitioner and the brother of NTDTV Hong Kong journalist Liang Zhen, was detained illegally for 35 days. He was arrested under the order of the current Chinese Communist regime on August 23, 2005. The arrest warrant was issued unlawfully by the People's Procuratorate of Naxi District of Luzhou City. They delivered the warrant to the family members of Liang Zhen. For fear of being exposed, the warrant was not signed.

The family of Liang Zhen hired a lawyer. On August 24, 2005, the lawyer asked to see the person in charge. Gao, the person responsible for the cases of Liang Zhen's mother and brother in the National Security Division of Naxi District, Luzhou City, expressed the need to seek approval from higher authorities. Later the answer was that these cases involved "state secrets" and representation by a lawyer was forbidden during the investigation phase.

On July 19, 2005, Liang Jinhui and Yuan Yuju, mother of Liang Zhen, who is an American citizen and legal resident in Hong Kong, were unlawfully detained by the authorities in Luzhou City, Sichuan Province for practicing Falun Dafa. Three computers and other personal belongings, valued at 20,000 yuan, were confiscated (later, one computer and a digital camera were returned). On August 17, Yuan Yuju was sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp. She is temporarily held in the detention center of Jiangyang District, Luzhou City. Liang Jinhui is still being held in the detention center of Luzhou City.

Mr. Liang Jinhui, 36, is a very honest person. Before practicing Falun Gong, Liang Jinhui suffered from a mental disorder. After practicing Falun Gong in 1994, he regained his health in 2001. He, however, still needs to take medicine periodically. Due to his knowledge of computers, the Chinese communist authorities unlawfully detained him for over a month and then arrested him. Currently, the family members are still forbidden to see him.

Recently, the National Security Division of Naxi District, Luzhou City arrested 10 more local Falun Dafa practitioners. Because overseas practitioners frequently made phone calls to clarify the truth, the division changed its phone number in the beginning of August and refuses to release the new number.
