(Clearwisdom.net) This Mid-Autumn Festival marks the one year anniversary of our participation in Fa rectification activities in Manhattan.
We took a long term lease on a house early in August last year so we could clarify the truth about Falun Gong in Manhattan. At that time the landlord told us, "I feel like this house is meant for you. Even though others offered me more money, for some reason I didn't want to rent it to them. When I saw you, I knew I should rent it to you."
He didn't know about Falun Dafa, so we told him why we wanted to clarify the truth in Manhattan, why we wanted to rent the house, and that we may have different people and sometimes more people staying in the house. He said that although he did not know Falun Gong, when he saw us, he knew we were good people. Maybe it was our predestinated relationship.
One year has passed, and he has been very kind to us. He even waived our heating bill in the winter time. When the lease ended, there was no pressure to renew. Instead he said, "If you want to move out, just let me know ahead of time."
On September 17, 2005, he gave us two boxes of moon cakes. (Moon Cakes are a specialty food eaten by almost all Chinese families to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on the 15th of August in the Chinese lunar calendar) He said, "I was very busy and did not have time to come see you. Tomorrow is Mid-Autumn Festival. These moon cakes are a small token to show that I care."
We are sincerely happy for him. He has shown his support for Falun Gong with his kindness and help, establishing a good foundation for his future. We had not seen him for several months, and he looks younger than before, with a healthy rosy complexion.
Although life is difficult doing Fa-rectification in Manhattan, true practitioners are tempered by the hardships. The Fa-rectification in Manhattan has not ended. We welcome more practitioners to come. There are many touching stories regarding Fa-rectification in Manhattan, but at the same time we can feel the rampant evil and its complex manifestation in the environment, as indicated in Master's recent article "To all Dafa disciples around the world and in mainland China, a happy Mid-Autumn Festival!"
A Will That Ebbs Not

Surpassing time and space,
Fa-rectification dashes forward
Massive is the challenge,
but your will is firm
Unbridled are the wicked,
yet you keep your bearings
Purging evil as if but whisking dust away
My disciples,
walk straight the path of Dafa
May your radiance grace the human world,
as you transcend the Three Realms
Disciples of Fa,
be diligent, with a will that ebbs not
The countless years of hardship were all for this time
