Life Renewed by Cultivating Falun Dafa, but Body Disabled by the Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) I was once divorced, and suffered many diseases. I almost gave up hope due to both mental and physical suffering. I didn't know what to do with my life and where it was going. But Falun Gong rescued me from disaster, and saved and renewed my life. However, after the persecution of Falun Gong was launched, I was tortured by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for speaking the truth. I was disabled by the torture and I can no longer take care of myself.

Before I started cultivating, I had gall bladder and liver diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, uterine tumors, and edema due to food poisoning. I also suffered from an unhappy marriage. After I started cultivating Falun Dafa, I followed the principles of Dafa, and always looked inward when in conflicts. Shortly after I started cultivating my husband came back and we became a happy couple again. All of my illnesses were gone too. During the physical examination at my workplace, it was found that the tumors were gone as well.

Since my husband didn't have a job, I sold our house, and started a small restaurant. Because we are sincere, and good to people, our business went very well. We not only solved our own financial problems, but also hired three or four people who had lost their jobs. I often told customers about how great and wonderful Falun Dafa is, and shared with them how it benefited me.

One time several middle-aged men came to my restaurant. They expressed their difficulties in life, and how depressed they were. I took this opportunity to promote the Fa to them. I told them how I escaped disasters, and how cultivating Dafa benefited me. They all were excited. One of them, who is the manager of a factory, said that nobody ever told him this before. Another one said that he was eager to learn Dafa. I asked for his address before they left. Later, when I gave the materials about Dafa to him, he was very appreciative and enthused. He even showed me that he had written, "Falun Dafa is good" on his calendar.

Later, I was arrested while handing out truth clarification materials, and was sentenced to two years of forced labor. This person came to visit me in the labor camp, and said to the policemen, "Please release her. I would like to be jailed in place of her."

On another occasion three well-built men came to my restaurant. I clarified the truth to them. They listened silently. Before leaving, they asked me if I was willing to do heavy labor. I answered that it depended on if it were necessary. After they left, a couple who were having a meal in the restaurant said to me, "You are silly. Can't you tell that they are policemen?" I smiled and answered, "It doesn't matter who they are, because what I told them is the truth."

I was reported to police while passing out truth clarification materials on the streets, and was illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor. I was jailed in several detention centers and labor camps.

I was forced to do long-term heavy labor. I was forced to carry human waste out on the mountain. I was forced to pluck chicken feathers for the policemen in the cold wintertime on the wild mountain, since the chicken barn is on the mountain. Because I persisted in cultivation practice, the guards beat me badly and force-fed me. They forced me to do work that even criminals are not given. I was forced to clean the iron shavings in an iron factory. Because of the hot iron oven and hot iron tracks, my shoes got burned quickly, and large blood blisters grew on my feet. My limbs became swollen and I could not make fists or bend down. Even so, the policemen still forced me to sit on the snow to listen to them give a speech. After the speech, I could not get up, and needed two people to help me.

Later, I was sent to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, where I suffered endless brainwashing torture. Although I had severe pain in my body, I persisted in refusing to listen to them. Even when I could only lie on the bed due to the torture I suffered, they ordered people around me to keep talking to me, which caused me severe mental and physical suffering. Finally, I was tortured so badly that I lost the ability to take care of myself, and I was released on a bail for medical treatment.

After I got home, local policemen kept harassing me, even though I could not even eat. What have I done wrong? What is wrong with cultivating Falun Dafa? One time I found a new purse in a haystack outside of my house, in which there were some bank documents, ID card, keys and other important things. I submitted it to the manager of the community, since I knew how anxious the owner must have been. When the manager was taking registration of it, somebody said, "If you give it to the owner in person, you will get a reward from him." But I am a Falun Gong practitioner, who always considers others first, and has no thoughts of personal gain. The manager of the community, who was assigned to keep a close watch on me for the police, also gave me the thumbs up sign and said, "What a nice person." I said that any Falun Gong practitioner would do the same thing.

Falun Gong practitioners follow the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," but Jiang Zemin's gang persecutes us. Because of the persecution, our restaurant went out of business. My husband takes care of me every day, helping me dress, eat, and use the restroom.

On September 18, 2004, seven 610 Office officials deceived me, a disabled person, and barged in and harassed me again. They claimed that they were carrying out the orders of the provincial offices, and they had an arrest and search warrant. They took away all my Dafa materials, and asked me if I was still going to practice. I said, "Although I cannot get up by myself, I will still practice." They asked who I still had contact with. I told them not to follow Jiang's gang to do bad things, for good is met with good, and evil meets retribution, which is the principle of heaven. Finally, they forced my family to record what I said. They threatened that if my family refused to do so, they would arrest them. They yelled at my husband. My mother, who is 90 years old, and my daughter were severely frightened, and almost cried. They interrogated me from midnight to 11 o'clock the next morning.

I hope that all kind people will awaken after reading my experience, support the righteous, and be kind to Dafa practitioners.
