Hong Kong: Experiences During CCP Leader Zeng Qinghong's Visit

(Clearwisdom.net) Zeng Qinghong, head of the Chinese Communist Party, attended the opening ceremony of Disney World in Hong Kong between September 10 and September 12, 2005. Falun Gong practitioners in Hong Kong used this opportunity to clarify the truth to the world's people, and they solemnly warned Zeng Qinghong, one of Jiang Zemin's main accomplices, to immediately stop persecuting Falun Gong.

Practitioners protested near the major events attended by Zeng Qinghong and his delegation. Zeng had no choice but to see and hear us. Here, I want to share some of our experiences.

On Saturday, September 10, the practitioners arrived early at Huang Gang-Lok Ma Chau port and continuously sent forth righteous thoughts. They quietly waited for Zeng Qinghong.

The motorcade was scheduled to arrive around 4 p.m., and police gathered around the bridge. Fifteen practitioners left the front gate and walked around the hillside. They went up a footbridge, unfurled banners and sent forth righteous thoughts. Many police officers went to the practitioners. Two police officers watched one practitioner, and three times they used metal detectors to inspect the surrounding area. They did not force the practitioners to leave, and instead they said, "Continue what you are doing." A suspicious-looking young man who claimed to be a reporter watched the practitioners but was later driven off by the police. An old man around 60 years of age asked the practitioners why they were there. The practitioners remained calm. They encouraged and cooperated with each other. They quietly sent forth righteous thoughts. The old man, who was later seen to be carrying a roundtrip pass from Mainland China to Hong Kong, walked away. The police also remained calm within the practitioners' benevolent and harmonious field of righteous thoughts.

The motorcade arrived at 4:05 p.m. The practitioners shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" "Stop persecuting Falun Gong!" They unfurled banners that read "Bring the Police and Others Who Persecute Falun Gong to Justice," "Solemn Warning to Zeng Qinghong: Immediately Stop Persecuting Falun Gong; Assisting the CCP in Doing Evil Will Result in Retribution." Zeng Qinghong and his delegation heard Falun Gong practitioners' appeal right after he entered Hong Kong. Afterwards, the police smiled at the practitioners. When the practitioners clarified the truth to them, they said, "Yes we know." When the practitioners thanked them and bid them goodbye, they said, "You worked hard! Farewell."

On Sunday, September 11, the police opened an area of appeal in front of the Shangri-la Hotel, where the Hong Kong government was holding a feast for Zeng Qinghong. Ten practitioners stayed in the area to send forth righteous thoughts. Zeng Qinghong waved at the reporters after he got out of the car, and the civil rights advocates and human rights advocates moved toward the dividing barrier. The police were very nervous and the atmosphere was tense. Practitioners were not affected and kept sending forth righteous thoughts. They shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" "Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa!" "Stop persecuting Falun Gong!" No one interfered with the practitioners. Some civil rights activists were moved by the righteous thoughts and also shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" Their voices echoed in the air. Some practitioners were moved to tears, seeing that people responded to righteous thoughts.

Monday September 12 was the opening day for Disney World in Hong Kong. Practitioners unfurled banners and sent forth righteous thoughts in the protest area outside the front gate. However, the area was far from the gate, thus several practitioners studied a map and hired two taxis and went near the park's rear entrance. Many police officers stood outside the back gate. The atmosphere was so intense you could cut it with a knife. The practitioners gradually relaxed. One reporter who seemed to know they were Falun Gong practitioners said to them three times, "Be careful! Be safe!" The practitioners heard the police saying into intercom, "The motorcade is coming." The motorcade appeared. The practitioners quickly unfurled the banners "Solemn Warning to Zeng Qinghong: Immediately Stop Persecuting Falun Gong; Assisting the CCP in Doing Evil Will Result in Retribution," "Falun Dafa is good." They shouted, "Falun Dafa is good," "Stop persecuting Falun Gong," etc. Everyone in the motorcade saw and heard the practitioners.

After these experiences, the practitioners realized that as long as we can look at things from the perspective of Dafa, calm our minds, discard fear and our attachment to life and death, with benevolence toward all beings, we can do anything, and there is no way the evil can stop us. Any form of interference or obstruction would be in vain. Moreover, cooperation as a whole body, encouragement and support with righteous thoughts are all very important.
