(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of July 28, 2005, the police followed 36-year-old Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Ma Xueqing from Dalian City, Liaoning Province and arrested her once again on her way to work. Later, they searched her home. Currently Ms. Ma is being detained at the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian City. This is the seventh time that Ms. Ma has been arrested and the fourth time her home has been ransacked.

Ms. Ma Xueqing graduated from college and is a government employee. She has always worked diligently and productively. Until last year, she was always selected as a national model worker in her occupation. Because she has been practicing "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" for the past six years, Ma Xueqing has been repeatedly persecuted. The authorities have detained her for a total of 137 days. They searched her office twice and they extorted 7,000 yuan from her. Below is a brief account of Ms. Ma's arrest experiences.

The first time: On April 20, 2000, Ms. Ma's employer asked her to attend a business conference in Beijing. Out of fear that she might appeal for the right to practice Falun Gong during her stay there, the Chunhai Police Station of Zhongshan District, Dalian City dispatched four policemen to arrest her. They took her to the Dalian Drug Rehabilitation Center. The authorities released Ms. Ma on June 1 and extorted 7,000 yuan from her.

The second time: On July 5, 2000, Ms. Ma went to help a lonely girl whose parents had been arrested because they practiced Falun Gong. The police, who were waiting for her at the girl's place, arrested her and ransacked her home. Because they could not find anything useful, the frustrated police sent Ms. Ma to the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian City and later transferred her to a brainwashing center where they kept her until September 6.

The third time: On the evening of April 15, 2002, with the nearing of the sensitive date "April 25," the police searched Ms. Ma's home again without any result. Claiming that Ms. Ma had a "bad attitude," they forcibly took her to the Chunhai Police Station, and then to the Yaojia Detention Center. They did not release her until four days later when she had a heart attack.

The fourth time: On August 12, 2002, in another round of persecution before the commencement of "the 16th National People's Congress," six people from the Chunhai Police Station broke into Ms. Ma's office to search for "evidence" to be used against her. When their search ended in vain, several strong men dragged Ma Xueqing out and threw her into the police car. Because they handcuffed her hands tightly behind her back, the marks were on Ms. Ma's wrists for a long time and her thumb was almost disabled. On their way to the police station, Ms. Ma had another heart attack. The police tried to bribe the doctor for his signature stating that Ms. Ma was in good health, but the doctor refused. However, Ms. Ma was still sentenced to two years of forced labor and was taken to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. The labor camp was closed at that time and no one was available to give Ms. Ma a physical exam. Therefore, they refused to accept her on the grounds of incomplete documents. Nevertheless, the police left Ms. Ma there anyway. It was not until later that Ms. Ma developed a series of critical conditions such as electrolyte disorder, heart embolism and four plus signs of ketones in her urine. Only on September 5 did the labor camp call Ms. Ma's relative to take her home (after paying a 3,000-yuan "deposit"). Ms. Ma was so weak at the time that she could not walk by herself and needed someone to carry her when going upstairs.

The fifth time: On April 7, 2003, without any reason, the police came to Ms. Ma's home to arrest her again. Since she was not in at the time, they came to her office to arrest her. Ma Xueqing had a heart attack again and her blood pressure dropped suddenly. They had no other choice but to send her to the emergency room of a hospital. Despite this, after the incident, they continued going to her office to harass her. Under such constant pressure, Ms. Ma's husband divorced her.

The sixth time: On September 6, 2004, Ms. Ma went to visit a friend after work. As soon as she stepped through the door, a policeman waiting outside jumped out, arrested her and took her to the police station. The next day, they also went to her home to search it. During the process, they handcuffed Ms. Ma in order to humiliate her in front of her neighbors. On the night of September 7, because of her heart problem, they finally released her.

The seventh time: On July 28, 2005, the police followed Ms. Ma and arrested her on her way to work. They ransacked her office and her parents' home. Despite her poor health, they forcibly took Ms. Ma to the detention center. At present, Ma Xueqing is jailed at the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian City. Further details are unknown.

Recently, Ms. Ma's father was hospitalized because he could no longer bear the suffering of his daughter's repetitive arrests. His once normal blood sugar levels have suddenly been showing symptoms of abnormality. All the ordeals and persecution experienced by Ms. Ma and her family members are hard to write down.
