Spreading the Nine Commentaries in the Conference on "Preserving the Advanced Nature"

Many mid to large-scale corporations are busy at political study sessions in the campaign of "Preserving the Advanced Nature" [a last-ditch effort to try to reinforce people's allegiance to the Chinese Communist Party]. Employees in one of the factories were asked to attend group study sessions. This upset the employees. The hired political instructor saw that people were either sleeping or napping, and felt that his work was pointless. He then said, "What is our country doing, who cares about 'preserving the advanced nature'? Let's talk about the persecution of Falun Gong. That's Jiang's wrongdoing. But now he doesn't know how to stop it. There's a book called the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and it's the truth. I have a copy. If I have it with me today I'll read it to you guys." Then the employees started paying attention to him.

"Can you count me in?"

A local practitioner went to the local District Political Committee secretary to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. The secretary was harsh, but the practitioner spoke to him with the intention of saving him, and kept sending forth righteous thoughts. He started talking about the principle that good and evil are rewarded in kind, about how he has benefited from practicing Falun Gong, and how he stopped receiving bribes from others. The secretary asked, "Did your Master teach you this?" The practitioner responded, "Yes, my body and mind have both benefited."

The secretary, who had been extremely mean, now changed and sat quietly. Then he smiled and said, "Can you tell your Master to count me in?" The practitioner happily said, "Of course. He wants good people." The secretary said, "I think I am pretty kind." He later told the practitioners that the police planned to arrest a few practitioners. It has been six months, and the practitioners have not been arrested.
