1. Disabled Practitioner Ms. Wang Zanmei Arrested by the Kaifeng City 610 Office

On December 6, 2005, disabled Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Zanmei (59 years old, from Qi County, Henan Province) was deceived into leaving her home by a police officer from the Qi County Department, under instruction of the Kaifeng City 610 Office. Ms. Wang was arrested and taken to the Qi County Detention Center. Ever since the persecution of Falun Dafa began in 1999, Ms. Wang Zanmei has had her home ransacked, has been illegally arrested and has been fined repeatedly. She has been tortured and verbally abused, and was even thrown into a male cell during detention.

2. Ms. Pan Jing, Ms. Geng Li, and Ms. Jiang Guiyun, and Others Are on a Hunger Strike in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp

There are still seven Falun Dafa practitioners conducting hunger strikes in Masanjia Labor Camp. They are Ms. Jiang Guiyun, Ms. Geng Li, Ms. Pan Jing, Ms. Meng Guiqiu, Ms. Sheng Lianying, Ms. Zhou Hua, and Ms. Dong Jingya. Among them, Ms. Dong Jingya and Ms. Sheng Lianying have been on a hunger strike for more than seven months, and Ms. Meng Guiqiu has been on hunger strike for more than eight months. The guards are force-feeding them, handcuffing them, and subjecting them to sleep deprivation. Ms. Pan Jing, Ms. Geng Li, and Ms. Jiang Guiyun are under severe restriction, which means that they are being brutally tortured in sealed rooms. Their lives are in danger.

3. Police in Langfang City Deceived Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiucun into Going to the Kaiping Labor Camp

On July 21, 2004, police officers deceived Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Xiucun into going to the Kaiping Labor Camp located in Tangshan City, Hebei Province, and sentenced her to 18 months of forced labor. Ms. Zhang Xiucun went on a hunger strike to protest and was tortured. The perpetrators slapped her in the face, tied her up in a chair, and deprived her of sleep for four consecutive days. In February 2005, Ms. Zhang Xiucun was tortured again by being forced to stand for 20 hours per day for 15 days. This torture caused her legs to swell up, her heels to be in extreme pain, and her to feel numb and freezing cold.

4. Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Hu Weirong Arrested and Sent to Brainwashing Center by the Pingjiang City 610 Office

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Hu Weirong from Yuping Town, Pingjiang County, Hunan Province has persistently clarified the truth. On November 17, 2005, local 610 Office agent Dai Wenming directed the police to storm her house and ransack the place. They arrested Ms. Hu and took her to the Hubin Brainwashing Center located in Yueyang City, Hunan Province.

5. Help Rescue Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Xiao Juhua

Ms. Xiao Juhua is 61 years old and a retired engineer of the No. 33 Institute of the Aerospace Ministry. She lives in Yungang North District, Fengtai District, Beijing. Ms. Xiao has been harassed constantly by policemen, State Security agents, and the neighborhood administration because she practices Falun Dafa. On September 14, 2005, Ms. Xiao was illegally arrested by plainclothes State Security agents when out vegetable shopping at the market. Ms. Xiao has been detained for more than three months.
