1. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Many Falun Gong Practitioners Sentenced Without Due Cause

In March 2005, Gansu Province's Lanzhou City Qilihe District Court sentenced Falun Gong practitioners who were secretly arrested in June 2004 by the Lanzhou City Police Department No. 26 Division. The Falun Gong practitioners and their sentences are detailed below:

Mr. Li Baosheng - 7 years
Ms. Jin Xiaoqin - 4 years
Ms. Zhang Minghai - 3 years
Ms. Liu Xiuying - 3 years
Ms. Tian Juhong - 2-years

They are currently detained at the Lanzhou City Dashaping Prison and Gansu Province Women's Prison, without due process.

2. [Tianjin City] Two Dafa Practitioners from Tangku District Arrested

Police from the ninth team arrested Tianjing City Tangku District Xingang Area Dafa practitioners Li Ping and Cao Fengqin. At around noon on December 19, 2005, Li Ping was arrested while leaving the home of Cao Fengqin. Police then arrested Cao Fengqin and ransacked their homes. They confiscated Cao Fengqin's child's computer.

3. [Xuchang City, Henan Province] Ms. Guo Guiju Arrested by the 610 Office for Clarifying the Truth

Ms. Guo Guiju worked at Xuchang College in Henan Province. During the night of December 20, 2005, 610 Office official Wen Jianwei and a team of ten police officers arrested Guo for clarifying the truth and detained her at the Xuchang City Detention Center.

4. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhu Yanbin Beaten and Detained by Police

Dafa practitioner Zhu Yanbin, of Baoding City's rural district Dongkangge Village, is a driver of electrically operated three-wheeled carts. On December 14, 2005, a plainclothes policeman pretending to be a customer deceived Zhu and took him to the Nanshi District Police Station, where he was severely beaten. In the afternoon, at around 2:00 p.m., Zhu Yanbin's wife was also brought to that police station and forced to watch Zhu Yanbin being severely beaten by six policemen. Their home was ransacked. Currently, Zhu Yanbin is detained at the Baoding Detention Center.

5. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Mr. Gao Xiuzhen Forced Into Sanshui Brainwashing Center

Guangzhou Dafa practitioner Gao Xiuzhen, 65, was arrested on November 3, 2005 in Haizhou District while he was distributing truth clarification materials. He was taken to Sanshui brainwashing center on November 4, and family visits were refused.
