(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioner Ms. Liu Dan is from Jixi City, Helongjiang Province. She suffers from bleeding peptic ulcers as the result of persecution. Those who persecuted her were afraid to take the responsibility so they released Ms. Liu to her family. On December 14, 2005, her family took her home from the detoxification center. Shortly after that, Liu Dan was illegally detained again by the Hengshan Public Security Bureau Subdivision, and was held in a private room near the Large Hengshan Mine Jiukeng. There were about ten policemen who monitored Ms. Liu around the clock.

Ms. Liu Dan, age 29, was arrested on October 24, 2005 by police from the Jiguan District Public Security Bureau. She suffered inhuman torture and humiliation. On November 24, 2005, Liu Dan was sentenced to three years in a labor camp. Practitioner Chen Lichun, who was illegally arrested at the same time, was sent to a detoxification center in Helongjiang Province. The detoxification center refused to take Liu Dan because she did not pass the minimum health requirement; she had severe bleeding peptic ulcers. The Public Security Bureau Subdivision in Jiguan District threw Ms. Liu into the detoxification hospital for treatment. Her condition did not improve. The detoxification center asked the Bureau to take her back into their custody but they shifted the responsibility to the Hengshan District Public Security Bureau Subdivision.

Deputy Director Sun Mengshan (actively persecuting Dafa practitioners, has been exposed on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website many times) refused to take Ms. Liu Dan, and released her to her family. Shortly after that, the police from Hengshan Public Security Bureau Subdivision took her away again, to a private room, and used about ten policemen to monitor her around clock. They still won't let Ms. Liu go home.
