(Clearwisdom.net) The coming of a New Year is greeted by people differently around the world. Some wait for it together with family members, some celebrate at parties, and some peacefully remember their loved ones or friends and wish them all the best for the New Year.

A calm atmosphere manifested at a gathering in front of the Chinese embassy in Bratislava, where before midnight, Falun Gong practitioners met to welcome the coming of a New Year in peaceful meditation.

The practitioners wished that those being persecuted for their belief could practice freely, and requested the Chinese Communist regime to stop the persecution against Dafa practitioners following Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance.
