Li Jun of the National Protection Brigade of Huanan County, Heilongjiang Province, Wantonly Arrests Falun Gong Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) A Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Wang Hongyan is physically disabled. In August of 2005, she was illegally arrested and taken to the Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp for detention. The camp released her because a physical examination showed that she had bone cancer. Nevertheless, Li Jun, as the leader of the Huanan County National Protection Brigade, still keeps Ms. Wang at the county detention center. He has no intention of allowing her to go home.

Mr. Liu Qing had a similar experience. On November 12, 2005, Li Jun led the members of the local National Protection Brigade to search Mr. Liu's home. Household items were thrown everywhere and a video player confiscated. On December 28, 2005, Mr. Liu Qing was taken to the Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp. The camp refused to take him, because of his poor physical condition. Li Jun continues to keep Mr. Liu at the county detention center.

Ms. Liu Chunjing practices Falun Dafa. At around 8 a.m. on August 10, 2005, Li Jun and associates from the local National Protection Brigade came to her home. At first, only one of them came in, asking her name. Ms Liu, thinking he was a visitor, invited him to sit down. He didn't introduce himself, but he called the others inside. One of them claimed to be Li Jun, but showed no proper ID or legal papers. They searched the house. Ms. Liu's sick husband and her tiny child need her to take care of them. The police took her to Jiamusi City Forced Labor Camp for further persecution, leaving them with no one to care for them. Ms. Liu Jing has been tortured so severely in the camp that she has become extremely feeble. She is unable to stand or sit up without help. She cannot move her legs to walk, nor can she hold anything in her hands.

Mr. Zhou Zhanxian, 67 years old and Ms. Li Xiulan, 60 years old, live on Tiedong Street in Huanan County, Heilongjiang Province and practice Falun Gong. The police arrested them on December 7, 2005. They are still being persecuted in the Huanan County Jail. Mr. Liu Guangyou also practices Falun Gong. He has been detained at the jail since August 2005.

On the morning of October 25, 2005, police officers Sui Fajia and Chen Liwei of the Huanan Public Security's Lixin Police Station arrested a couple who practice Falun Gong, Mr. Lai Yueyou and Ms. Fu Qingxian, at their home. They were forced to leave their four-year-old child alone at home. Nobody knew the child was alone and needed care. Since the persecution began on July 20, 1999, Li Jun of the Huanan National Protection Brigade has illegally arrested and persecuted around 80 people who practice Falun Gong. He has also extorted more than 100,000 yuan from their families. Practitioners continue to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to Li Jun, but he is blinded by thoughts of fame and gain. Li Jun continues to persecute the innocent and even arrests their family members, putting them in the forced labor camp, too. This increases the amount of his reward.
